  • Patent number: 11131051
Abstract: By improving the rigidity of a pulley while suppressing a weight of the pulley from increasing, excessive noises due to resonance can be reduced. A washing machine 1 includes a drum 9 rotatably disposed in the water tub 5. The washing machine 1 has a motor to rotationally drive a pulley 20, which is fixed to the drum 9, via an endless belt 13. The pulley 20 has a plurality of arms 23 radially extend from the boss 22 to support an outer wheel 21. The arm 23 has a variable cross-sectional portion 24 in which a section modulus against bending in an axial direction gradually decreases from the boss 22 to the outer wheel 21.

  • Patent number: 10995444
Abstract: The washing machine of the present disclosure includes an improved pulley for reducing the noise generated in the pulley. When the shaft is inserted into the shaft insertion hole, at least a part of the shaft is closely contacted with the shaft insertion hole to minimize the tolerance between the shaft and the shaft insertion hole, and the rotation shaft of the pulley and the center axis of the shafts may be made to coincide with each other, so that the noise generated by the rotation of the pulley can be effectively reduced. In addition, the spoke of the pulley includes the curved portion, thereby reducing the friction with the air and effectively reducing noise due to friction with air.

  • Patent number: 6471732
Abstract: A water-in-oil type emulsion fuel oil is prepared by dispersing and emulsifying in heavy oil a water/carbon mixture prepared by dispersing carbon fine particles in water with a dispersant and a protective colloid. The emulsion fuel oil includes 100 vol % of heavy oil and 20 to 45 vol % of the water/carbon mixture. Water particles are uniformly dispersed and emulsified in the heavy oil in the form of particles having diameters exceeding 20 &mgr;m but not exceeding 35 &mgr;m, and when the amount of the water/carbon mixture to be mixed with 100 vol % of the heavy oil is 20 to 35 vol %, the dispersed water particles have diameters ranging from 25 to 35 &mgr;m, while when the amount is 35 to 45 vol %, they have diameters of from more than 20 &mgr;m to 25 &mgr;m. Because, in this emulsified fuel oil, flame temperature does not change in comparison with the heavy oil combustion to which water is not add, this emulsified fuel oil is extremely advantageous in view of a heat balance.
