  • Patent number: 11025267
Abstract: The present technology relates to a DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) and an oscillation circuit that allow widening of a range of a voltage to be output from the DAC. A plurality of first switches is connected to a voltage-dividing resistor and each configured to output, as a first voltage, a voltage at a corresponding one of connection points between the voltage-dividing resistor and the plurality of first switches. A plurality of second switches is connected to the voltage-dividing resistor and each configured to output, as a second voltage, a voltage at a corresponding one of connection points between the voltage-dividing resistor and the plurality of second switches. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) and the like that oscillates a signal with a frequency according to a voltage to be output from a DAC.

  • Publication number: 20190103838
Abstract: The present technology relates to a modulator and a modulation method for enabling provision of a highly convenient modulator. The modulator is configured to be input a first signal corresponding to one of a positive signal and a negative signal constituting a baseband signal of a differential signal, and a second signal having the same level as the first signal in one of an H level section in which the one signal is at an H level and an L level section in which the one signal is at an L level, and configured to generate a modulation signal obtained by modulating a carrier with the first and second signals to generate a modulation signal that is the amplitude shift keying (ASK)-modulated carrier with the baseband signal. The present technology can be applied to a case of modulating a carrier according to a baseband signal, for example.

  • Patent number: 6163035
Abstract: On a measuring head which is mounted on a working end of a robot, there are provided an optical distance measuring device and a mirror which refracts an optical axis of the distance measuring device toward the plate surface of a workpiece. The measuring head is moved such that a point of irradiation of a light beam relative to the workpiece moves along a scanning line which is set so as to cross a hole edge point. The position at which the measured distance rapidly changes is set as the position of the hole edge point of a hole which crosses the scanning line. In case holes are respectively formed in a pair of plate portions which lie opposite to each other, the measuring head is provided with a distance measuring device and a mirror in a pair respectively so that the positions of both the holes on both sides can be measured at the same time.

  • Patent number: 6061887
Abstract: In an assembly line in which at least two kinds of workpieces are transported by mixture and in which each of the workpieces is transported by a self-propelling transporting member, a transporting pitch for each kind of workpiece is set in advance based on a difference in the number of assembling man-hours required for each of them. The timing for starting the transporting member off a starting end of the assembly line is controlled according to the transporting pitch such that a pitch between a preceding transporting member and a succeeding transporting member becomes equal to that which is set for a workpiece to be transported by the preceding transporting member.

  • Patent number: 4948329
Abstract: A robot apparatus includes a robot having a swingable arm, a wrist mechanism mounted on the arm, and a running mechanism for displacing the robot in a prescribed direction. The wrist mechanism is coupled to an attachment member by an actuator having a fluid cylinder substantially parallel to the arm. When a component to be attached to a workpiece is held by a jig mounted on the wrist mechanism, the fluid cylinder is actuated to lift the wrist mechanism in order to correct the jig for the distance it is lowered due to the weight of the component. The wrist mechanism includes a bracket mounted on the arm by a support shaft, the bracket and the support shaft having fluid passages for supplying fluid under pressure to a torque actuator disposed in the bracket. The running mechanism is disposed in a pit defined in a floor on which the robot apparatus is located.
