  • Publication number: 20230353850
Abstract: An image capturing apparatus includes an image sensor unit including an image sensor board on which an image sensor is mounted, a first drive mechanism that drives the image sensor unit in a first direction orthogonal to an optical axis of the image sensor, a second drive mechanism that drives the unit in a second direction orthogonal to the optical axis and different from the first direction, and a first duct disposed on an opposite side of the board to a surface on which the sensor is mounted, in a state opposed to the board, to allow cooling air to pass therethrough. The first duct has an air suction port and an air discharge port. When viewed from the optical axis direction, the first drive mechanism, the second drive mechanism, the air suction port, and the air discharge port do not overlap around the image sensor.

  • Patent number: 11800208
Abstract: An image sensor converts an optical image formed by an imaging optical system to video signals. A heat dissipation section discharges heat generated in an image sensor to the outside. The imaging optical system, the image sensor, the heat dissipation section, and a battery chamber are arranged on an extension line of an axis of the system in the mentioned order. The battery chamber has an upper surface tilted forward in a direction in which the image sensor is disposed with respect to the axis by a predetermined angle. A projected shadow of a portion, close to the heat dissipation section, of an upper end portion of the battery chamber, which is projected from an upper surface side of the image capturing apparatus, overlaps the heat dissipation section.

  • Patent number: 11367583
Abstract: A seesaw type operation unit having a new configuration is provided. A swinging member is capable of swinging in a predetermined direction with a rotation axis at a center. An urging member urges the swinging member to a neutral position. A detector includes a rotating portion which is arranged coaxially with the rotation axis and rotates integrally with the swinging member, and outputs a signal depending on a rotation amount of the rotating portion. An operating member receives an operation from an outside and causes the swinging member to rotate in the predetermined direction by the operation. A supporting member rotatably and coaxially supports the swinging member and the operating member. In a case where the operating member is rotated in the predetermined direction, the operating member pushes an end of the swinging member to rotate the operating member, the swinging member, and the rotating portion integrally with one another.

  • Patent number: 11089186
Abstract: An image pickup apparatus that is capable of efficiently dissipating heat generated in a sensor substrate or a control substrate. An image sensor is implemented on the sensor substrate. A first heat dissipation section has four faces approximately parallel to an optical axis of an image pickup optical system of a lens unit and is fixed to the lens unit so that the four faces will surround the optical system from four sides. The control substrate is thermally coupled with the first heat dissipation section. A second heat dissipation section is arranged at a side opposite to the optical system in an optical axis direction with respect to the sensor substrate and is fixed to the first heat dissipation section. A heat conduction member is arranged between the sensor substrate and the second heat dissipation section in the optical axis direction so as to contact the both.

  • Publication number: 20040008274
Abstract: An imaging device includes a mode setting member which allows a shooting mode to be selected from a plurality of shooting modes, a first trigger member for shooting still images, and a second trigger member for shooting motion images. The mode setting member makes at least a first shooting mode and second shooting mode available. In the first shooting mode, a still image is shot by causing a first light emitter to emit light continuously when a first operation signal from the first trigger member is detected and causing the first light emitter to stop emitting light and causing a second light emitter to emit light when a second operation signal from the first trigger member is detected. In the second shooting mode, when an operation signal from the second trigger member is detected, moving images are started to be shot while a first light emitter keeps emitting light continuously.
