  • Publication number: 20230201906
Abstract: In a pipe machining apparatus A, a region of a part including a first pressure contact part 61a which comes into pressure contact with a first portion 11a of a pipe P in a lower clamper part 6 of a clamping device C serves as a first movable clamper part 61 which is separate from a different region 63 of the lower clamper part 6, and the pipe machining apparatus A includes a first displacement member 8A that is able to displace the first movable clamper part 61 in a predetermined first direction D1 after machining of the pipe P ends. According to such a constitution, a pipe machining apparatus capable of appropriately resolving aggravation of workability of removing a pipe caused by a part of the pipe which comes into pressure contact with a lower clamper part of a clamping device can be provided.

  • Patent number: 10010963
Abstract: The heat exchanger wherein each end of a plurality of heat transfer tubes is connected to an end wall of a bulging portion provided at a side wall of a case, an open edge of a header is fitted onto the bulging portion, and a chamber connecting with each heat transfer tube is formed. For jointing the header to the side wall, an inner circumferential end of the open edge of the header is formed as a first curved surface with a convex section, an outer face of the circumferential wall of the bulging portion is formed as a second curved surface with a concave section, the first curved surface and the second curved surface contact each other, and the surface-contact portion and the area therearound are welded. The number of the members is reduced, the structure is simplified, and the production cost of the heat exchanger is reduced.

  • Patent number: 4529336
Abstract: A method of distributing powdered or granular material to a plurality of feeding ends in a system having a pressurizing tank for pressurizing and fluidizing a powdered or granular material, a plurality of transportation pipes having one ends constituting discharge nozzles opening above a fluidized bed in the tank and the other ends connected to different feeding ends so as to introduce the material to the feeding ends, and a plurality of booster gas supply pipes for supplying respective transportation pipes with a booster gas. The internal pressure of the tank is controlled by a controller provided with a set valve in accordance with the mean value of the terminal pressures at the feeding ends, the mean value of predetermined set flow rates of the booster gas in the booster gas supplying pipes, and the mean value of predetermined set rates of transportation of material to the feeding ends.

  • Patent number: 4482275
Abstract: Powdered particles are continuously distributed from a pressurized transporting vessel to a plurality of receiving ends such as tuyers of a blast furnace through a plurality of transporting pipes for each receiving end. A speed of gas supplied to the vessel is controlled depending on a weight changing ratio of the vessel and an internal pressure of the vessel, so that the speed of gas is maintained at constant. Booster gas is supplied to each of the transporting pipes. A discharging rate of the powdered particles is controlled by a cascade control system for each of the pipes by individually controlling a flow rate of booster gas depending on a differential pressure in each discharge nozzle of the pipes, or on an output of solid-gas mass-flow meter in each of the pipes, or on a solid-gas ratio corresponding to each length of the pipes and a mass-flow rate of the particles in the vessel per total gas flow rate.

  • Patent number: 4430116
Abstract: An apparatus for heating or heating and reduction raw material of a metallurgical furnace, utilizing high temperature waste gases which are released from the same furnace, has one or plural numbers of reactor(s) capable of holding the raw materials in the amount which can be charged in plural numbers of processing in the metallurgical furnace, where the reactor(s) is (are) disposed on a bypass passage connected to a pipe of a waste gas processing apparatus for cooling and scrubbing the waste gases from the metallurgical furnace. A part or all the waste gases are introduced into the reactor(s) and come into contact with the raw materials therein when the blowing in the furnace is performed to a full scale, and the reactor is cut off at the initial and final stage of blowing, whereby the heating or the heating and reduction raw material of a metallurgical furnace is effectively performed.
