  • Patent number: 8597989
Abstract: The yield of semiconductor devices is improved. In an upper die of a resin molding die including a pair of the upper die and a lower die, by lengthening the radius of the cross section of an inner peripheral surface of a second corner part facing an injection gate of a cavity more than that of the other corner part, a void contained in a resin in resin injection can be pushed out into an air vent without allowing the void to remain in the second corner part of the cavity. Consequently, the occurrence of the void in the cavity can be prevented and then the occurrence of the appearance defect of the semiconductor device can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 5359754
Abstract: A concealed slide fastener top and stop is formed by wrapping around a edge of a fastener tape with a U-shaped piece of synthetic resin and fusing the U-shaped pieces. The U-shaped piece is fused at its open ends through the fastener tape. The fused-through portion is shifted inwardly from a tape folded-in part, to which a row of fastener elements is attached. The fused-through portion is at an angle different from that of the fastener elements.

  • Patent number: 5119534
Abstract: In a method of forming coupling head portions on a monofilament of thermoplastic synthetic resin for production of a slide fastener coupling element, the monofilament is stamped from one side to form recessed small-thickness portions bulging from the other side of the monofilament, and then the monofilament is bent at opposite ends of each of the recessed small-thickness portions in such a manner that the concave side of each small-thickness portions faces outwardly.

  • Patent number: 5058246
Abstract: Slide fastener elements made of a helically wound synthetic resin monofilament and the method of forming the same. According to a preferred embodiment, each fastener element comprises an interengaging head arranged on one-line in the longitudinal direction of the slide fastener elements, a pair of interengaging head-side widened portions formed at the both sides of the interengaging head, upper and lower legs extending from the both ends of the interengaging head through the pair of interengaging head-side widened portions respectively so as to transverse the longitudinal direction of the slide fastener elements and a turn extending between an upper leg of one slide fastener element and a lower leg of an adjacent slide fastener element through a pair of connecting portions formed at the both sides of the turn. The interengaging head is formed by pressing the monofilament to be sidened at its portion corresponding to the interengaging head.

  • Patent number: 4870724
Abstract: A separable slide fastener has a separable end assembly attached to reinforced bottom end portions of a pair of stringer tapes, and a pair of grip tabs each secured to the reinforced bottom end portions of the respective stringer tape and adapted to manipulate the separable end assembly. The grip tab has an inner longitudinal portion disposed adjacent to but spaced from the separable end assembly by a predetermined spacing.

  • Patent number: 4752992
Abstract: A slide fastener 10 includes an end stop which is made of a thermoplastic material and allowed on melting by ultrasonic or high-frequency fusion to permeate yarns of fastener tapes, penetrate the interstices or openings in the tapes and fuse together at the confronting ends of the end stop with the tape sandwiched therebetween thereby firmly anchoring the same in place against movement even under increased stresses.

  • Patent number: 4099301
Abstract: A pair of assembled slide fastener stringers each have a stringer tape and a row of interlocking elements mounted on and along one edge of the stringer tape. A plurality of sliders are slidably mounted on the rows of interlocking elements, each slider having a head at which the element rows go into and out of the slider in the uncoupled state, and a rear at which the element rows go into and out of the slider in the coupled state. A plurality of bottom end stops are also slidably mounted on the element rows, each bottom end stop having a slider-like structure comprising a head at which the element rows go into and out of the bottom end stop in the uncoupled state, and a rear at which the element rows go into and out of the bottom end stop in the coupled state. The sliders alternate with the bottom end stops and have their heads directed in one direction and toward the heads of the bottom end stops.

  • Patent number: 4047402
Abstract: Two or more warp-knitted members of a tubular or cylindrical shape are interconnected by a connecting thread to provide reinforcement to be inserted longitudinally in a row of helically coiled fastener elements. The tubular warp-knitted members may be wrapped around core members. A choice is available of diameters of the warp-knitted members so as to be compatible with the particular shapes and contours of given fastener elements. A plurality of warp-knitted members are interconnected in such a fashion that the resulting reinforcement can be adapted for securing a relatively large-size fastener element onto the tape.

  • Patent number: 4023244
Abstract: An emergency opening slider to be mounted, in addition to the usual fastener slider, in any selected position on interlocked rows of fastener elements to permit the fastener to be forced open from the selected position in an emergency. The slider body has a guide channel therethrough which consists of contracted terminal portions at both ends and an expanded midportion, with the latter portion divided into a pair of branch channels where the rows of fastener elements are incapable of interlocking engagement. The slider body includes a portion or portions which, upon application of operating force as through a pull string connected thereto, are displaceable to permit disengagement of the fastener elements.

  • Patent number: 3974550
Abstract: A stringer for a slide fastener is provided with a warp-knit tape having alternate wales and interwale grooves and a row of fastener elements secured thereto. The element has a recess in one of its legs for receiving a larger wale of the tape. The interwale grooves located on opposite sides of said larger wale are adapted to receive therethrough sewing threads and are widened such that the inner surfaces of the grooves are urged into intimate contact with said one leg under the influence of sewing pressure applied when sewing the element to the tape.

  • Patent number: 3945103
Abstract: Fastener assembly apparatus including a slider holder for holding a slider in upside-down disposition for the assemblage of a fastener chain in the form of a continuous length of coupled stringers. A stringer separator is mounted on the stringer exit side of the slider holder to permit the fastener stringers to be separated away from each other in a streamlined fashion as they emerge uncoupled out of the flared front end of the channeled slider body on the slider holder. In case a pair of oppositely directed sliders are to be assembled with each fastener length of the chain, a stringer guide is additionally mounted on the stringer entrance side of the slider holder to cause the fastener stringers to be introduced uncoupled into one of the sliders on the slider holder through its flared front end in a streamlined fashion.
