  • Patent number: 9588649
Abstract: A signal processing unit (11) displays a menu included in AV data on a display (4), when a button included in the menu is selected through a user operation to a touch panel (5), the signal processing unit (11) executes the operation process of the button, and returns a state of the menu to a state before the button is selected if a state where the button is selected continues after the execution. By this means, it is possible to improve usability when a dummy button is selected through operation to the touch panel.

  • Patent number: 9025934
Abstract: When a disc player device (100) is powered on again, playback information stored in a nonvolatile storage portion (160) is retrieved by a playback information retrieving portion (170) and delivered to a user operation auto-executing portion (180). It is determined whether or not user input instructions are limited, on the basis of user operation mask information obtained by a user operation mask information obtaining portion (130). An information comparing portion (182) compares playlist information, and an information comparing portion (184) compares play item information. Finally, a title including playlist information and play item information last stored in the nonvolatile storage portion (160) before the power-on of the disc player device (100) is searched for, and normal playback of the title is started. Such a configuration allows for quick playback resuming of a BD-J title being played at the time of the power-off, with a Java application running.

  • Patent number: 8978393
Abstract: An outdoor unit of air conditioner for ensuring strength against an impact applied to an electrical component box in a front-back, left-right, or top-bottom direction. The electrical component box has an upper partition plate, a front plate, and a box base plate coupled to one another and supported by an arm and a support post. The arm substantially perpendicularly supports the front plate in a front-back direction, and the upper partition plate. Thus, the electrical component box is strong enough to withstand an impact in the front-back and the left-right directions. Further, the support post substantially perpendicularly supports the arm and the box base plate in a top-bottom direction allowing the electrical component box to withstand an impact in the top-bottom direction. Also material of the electrical component box can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 8763416
Abstract: An outdoor unit of an air conditioner for facilitating setting of an electrical component box into the outdoor unit. A blower chamber side of a box base plate is similar in shape to a lower partition plate provided with a receiving part formed by bending inward an upper end of the lower partition plate. When joining an electrical component box to the lower partition plate, the box base plate is set onto the receiving part along a flange, whereby positioning the electrical component box, which is fixed to the lower partition plate by fastening with a screw, welding, or other suitable method. The positioning can be achieved only by putting the box on the receiving part along the flange. Facilitated positioning and fixing leads to simplicity and enhanced workability.

  • Publication number: 20130108240
Abstract: A reproduction control unit starts to monitor a reproduction state of a title being reproduced by a reproduction unit. If a specific navigation command added to the title being reproduced is executed, the reproduction state at a timing of the execution of this command is stored into a local storage. Moreover, the reproduction control unit determines whether or not the title being reproduced by the reproduction unit is an HDMV movie title, and in the case of the HDMV movie title, the reproduction control unit stores its reproduction state into the local storage. Resume reproduction depending on a reproduction target title is performed based on the reproduction state associated with the execution of the above specific navigation command and register information on the HDMV movie title.

  • Publication number: 20120195000
Abstract: An outdoor unit of air conditioner for efficiently cooling a board having a heater element and a heat generating component in an electrical component box, thereby enhansing heat release efficiency. Air flowing from a machinery chamber 11 into an electrical component box 60 is divided into: a flow Fa flowing from open space defined by an arm 64 and a support post 65 through a periphery of a box base plate 62; a flow Fb flowing through a first ventilation hole 62b; a flow Fc flowing through a second ventilation hole 62c; and a flow Fd flowing through a third ventilation hole 62d. The board and the heat generating component can be effectively cooled by the flows Fb, Fc, and Fd directly touching the board and the heat generating component, and by the flow Fa cooling overall the inside of the electrical component box 60.

  • Publication number: 20120114299
Abstract: A disc reproduction apparatus of the present invention has a signal processing section which displays a pop-up menu and a user interface specific to a title being reproduced by a reproduction section, on a monitor. Upon accepting a user's operation to display the pop-up menu or the user interface, the signal processing section displays only any of the pop-up menu and the user interface on the monitor. Due to such configuration, only any of the pop-up menu and user interface specific to an HDMV mode or BD-J mode title is displayed, and thereby, wrong operations by a user are reduced.

  • Publication number: 20110188833
Abstract: Disclosed is a disc playback apparatus and disc playback method that make it possible to automatically start playing back content such as a BD-J title of a BD-ROM disc, especially the main body of a movie or similar work. In a disc playback apparatus (100) to play back content automatically, when a disc playback operation starts, a menu detecting means (17) analyzes the structure of a movie playlist and decides that a menu state is present when the same play item is repeated a plurality of times. A button selecting executing means (18) executes a button selection when the menu detecting means (17) decides that a menu state is present.
