  • Patent number: 4919047
Abstract: A multicolor printing press incorporating a plurality of plate cylinders (3, 4) capable of winding dampening-waterless plates (50) onto themselves at the predetermined positions of the printing press body (1). The multicolor printing press is provided with a plurality of inking devices (7, 8) and plate feeding/discharging devices (5, 6) which are commonly made available for these plate cylinders (3, 4) so that these devices can individually be mounted onto and removed from the positions of printing press body (1) opposite the plate cylinders (3, 4), thus allowing the printing plate (50) to be automatically fed to and discharged from the plate cylinders (3, 4) and the printing operation to be quickly and easily changed as required.

  • Patent number: 4858528
Abstract: A printing plate (50) is provided with a plurality of positioning holes (50d) at the head portion (50a) on the basis of at least two cross sides (51a, 51b) of the printing plate (50). The printing plate (50) is delivered towards the plate cylinder (3) by the predetermined distance on the basis of two cross sides (51a, 51b) in relation to the rotation of the plate cylinder (3) so that each positioning holes (50d) can be engaged with the corresponding positioning pins (315) of the plate cylinder (3). This allows the printing plate (50) to be automatically and accurately mounted onto the designated position of the plate cylinder (3).

  • Patent number: 4723488
Abstract: An impression cylinder (11) and a blanket cylinder (2) are made in contact with/separated from each other at prescribed timing. Continuous paper (12) inserted between the impression cylinder (11) and the blanket cylinder (2) is intermittently fed in association with the said timing for printing. A pin feed tractor (13) arranged on an inlet side of a printing position forward/reversely feeds and stops the continuous paper (12) at timing previously set in relation to the said timing for contact/separation. A suction conveyer (14) arranged on an outlet side of the printing position sucks and conveys the printed continuous paper (12) while switching its suction force in plural of stages in relation to the said paper feeding timing.

  • Patent number: 4328749
Abstract: A method for recording a variant information and a steady information onto a recording medium, wherein the variant information and an identification information for designating the steady information which is to be recorded later are first recorded, and the identification information is then read to select a desired steady information from a plurality of pieces of stored steady information in accordance with the read identification information, and finally, the selected steady information is recorded on the recording medium. An apparatus for effecting the method is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4324368
Abstract: An apparatus for winding a yarn on a bobbin comprising: a guide for serving as a fulcrum of the traverse motion of yarn; a mechanism for positively driving and holding the bobbin; a traverse mechanism which is provided with a traverse guide having a narrow opening and a wide yarn holding portion and which reciprocates the traverse guide along the direction of the generatrix of said bobbin so as to form a yarn package on the bobbin; a yarn catching guide which includes a slope inclining with respect to the moving direction of the traverse guide and a hook portion connected to the upper end of the slope, the bottom of the hook portion being located at a position higher than the opening of said traverse guide; and the yarn catching guide being adjacent to the traverse guide and arranged movably along the moving direction of the traverse guide so that the slope of the yarn catching guide intersects the traverse region wherein the yarn is moved to and fro in accordance with the movement of the traverse guide and s

  • Patent number: 4116393
Abstract: A sample yarn-collecting apparatus for preparing a continuous yarn knotted in an end-to-end manner, in which sample yarns having a certain length are collected from a plurality of yarn packages, each of them are connected in succession in an end-to-end manner to obtain one continuous yarn, and the continuous yarn is wound temporarily and thereafter continuously unwound to be fed to testing means while storing it in a quantity within a predetermined range, is disclosed. This apparatus comprises sample yarn collecting means for collecting sample yarns from packages and connecting each of them to form one continuous yarn, means for storing the continuous yarn fed from said collecting means on a rotary member by winding it and feeding the continuous yarn wound and stored on the rotary member to testing means by unwinding it, and supplementary means for controlling the above two means.
