  • Patent number: 11689859
Abstract: Sound device receives a first sound signal from a first sound processor, generates a second sound signal based on the first sound signal, and transmits the second sound signal to a second sound processor. The second sound processor performs signal processing to the second sound signal to generate a third sound signal. The sound device receives the third sound signal from the second sound processor, checks a state of the second sound processor based on a signal received from the second sound processor, transmits a fourth sound signal based on the third sound signal to the first sound processor when determining that the state of the second sound processor is normal, and generates a fifth sound signal based on the first sound signal or the second sound signal to transmit it to the first sound processor when determining that the state of the second sound processor is abnormal.

  • Patent number: 7738980
Abstract: A digital mixer has a custom component specified by a configuration ID. Further, the same configuration ID is provided to another custom component for ensuring compatibility of scene data which is used for operating the custom component. When a custom component of the mixer configuration is edited, the edited custom component is provided with the same configuration ID as the initial custom component before the editing. Scene data of the initial custom component can be copied to scene data of the edited custom component or vice versa provided that their configuration IDs match with each other.

  • Patent number: 7558637
Abstract: A digital mixer has a processor capable of operating in accordance with a program to constitute a sound signal processing module and executing a program corresponding to mixer configuration data defining a mixer configuration of the sound signal processing module to perform a sound signal processing operation of the mixer configuration. In the digital mixer, a current memory stores an operation data set having a data structure corresponding to the mixer configuration data. A control section controls the sound signal processing operation of the sound signal processing module based on the operation data set stored in the current memory. A storage is provided for storing a plurality of operation data sets and attribute information indicative of data structures of the respective operation data sets. A select section selects one of the operation data sets stored in the storage.

  • Patent number: 7403616
Abstract: There is provided an electronic apparatus which once makes a user conscious of copyright and the like of digital data, such as audio data and image data, when the user records the digital data or performs the like processing, and then allows the user to use the digital data without annoying him any longer concerning the copyright and the like of digital data, a data recording method for the electronic apparatus, and a storage medium storing a program for executing the data recording method. The electronic apparatus is capable of performing a plurality of processes including a specific process execution of which is restricted in advance. A notification section notifies a user of a message calling the user's attention to the specific process in response to an instruction issued on the specific process. A function-setting section sets a specific function according to the notification of the message.

  • Patent number: 7392101
Abstract: There are provided multi-track recording/reproducing apparatus and method and a multi-track recording/reproducing program, which enable flexible setting of the number of reproducing tracks and that of recording tracks and also facilitates the setting. At least one track for recording is designated from a plurality of tracks, as desired. The number of tracks that can be reproduced is determined in response to the designation of the at least one track for recording. The number of tracks for reproduction is limited to the number of tracks that can be reproduced, by automatically muting at least predetermined one of tracks designated for reproduction, when the number of tracks designated for reproduction is larger than the number of tracks that can be reproduced.

  • Publication number: 20020015250
Abstract: There are provided a digital recording and reproducing apparatus and method which can display a remaining time period available for recording on a track which is designated for recording, and a storage medium storing a program for implementing the method. Whether or not to perform recording is designated for each of a plurality of tracks. The occurrence of an operation event is detected, which designates display of a time period available for recording. In response to the detected occurrence of the operation event, the time period available for recording is calculated based upon a number of tracks which are designated for recording upon the occurrence of the operation event, and a current amount of empty capacity in a storage device that stores recorded data. The calculated time period available for recording is displayed.
