  • Publication number: 20240137000
Abstract: A filter device includes a piezoelectric substrate, a dielectric layer on the piezoelectric substrate, a first IDT electrode on the dielectric layer, a second IDT electrode positioned on the piezoelectric substrate in an area where the dielectric layer is not provided such that the first and second IDT electrodes are side by side in an acoustic wave propagation direction extending along a principal surface of the piezoelectric substrate, a first reflector on the dielectric layer and adjacent to the first IDT electrode on a side of the second IDT electrode, and a second reflector on the piezoelectric substrate and adjacent to the second IDT electrode on a side of the first IDT electrode. The dielectric layer includes an edge portion between the first and second reflectors in planar view seen from a stacking direction of the piezoelectric substrate and the dielectric layer.

  • Patent number: 8117391
Abstract: A storage system, which is coupled to a computer, includes a storage device, a controller, a plurality of cache memory units, and a connecting unit. Each of the plurality of cache memory units includes: a cache memory for storing data; an auxiliary storage device for holding a content of data even after shutdown of power; and a cache controller for controlling an input/output of data to/from the cache memory and the auxiliary storage device. The cache controller store data stored in the cache memory, which is divided into a plurality of parts, into a plurality of the auxiliary storage devices included in the plurality of cache memory units.

  • Patent number: 7907700
Abstract: The present invention aims to suppress calorific value and prolong a lifetime of an apparatus that generates soft X-rays. Thus, the present invention provides a static elimination apparatus that includes an emitter as an electron emitting portion and a target, in which a thin film formed of diamond particles each having a particle size of 2 nm to 100 nm is formed on a surface of the emitter. The thin film has a diamond XRD pattern in an XRD measurement and, in a Raman spectroscopic measurement, a ratio of an sp3 bonding component to an sp2 bonding component within the film of 2.5 to 2.7:1. When a DC voltage is applied to the emitter, with a threshold electric field intensity of 1 V/?m or less, electrons larger in number than the prior art are emitted from the emitter and moreover, a temperature of the emitter is hardly increased, thus obtaining a longer lifetime.

  • Patent number: 6981093
Abstract: In a disk array control apparatus having a plurality of magnetic disk apparatus under its command for controlling data transfers to and from a host computer in a multiprocessor configuration comprising a plurality of microprocessors, a data path is provided between a cache unit and a shared memory unit, provided independent of the cache unit, for storing configurational information and the like required for system operation and control by the microprocessors, so that in the event of trouble with the apparatus or a sudden abnormality in main power supply, configurational information in a volatile shared memory unit is saved into non-volatile magnetic disk apparatuses from the data path via the cache unit by utilizing an uninterrupted power supply apparatus (UPS).

  • Patent number: 4223642
Abstract: A method which improves the combustion efficiency of fuel in the internal combustion engine is disclosed. The method is substantially characterized in that a small amount of ammonia gas is incorporated into the hydrocarbon fuel in any position between an air intake port and an intake manifold of the engine. Due to the above addition of ammonia, the combustion of the hydro-carbon fuel in the combustion chamber is enhanced with the improved composition of the discharged gas.
