  • Patent number: 10284791
Abstract: Provided is a display on which an operation is performed by an information processing apparatus that is connected to the display. The display includes a USB terminal, a first video input terminal, a second video input terminal, an input signal processing unit that transmits inherent information of the display to the information processing apparatus, and a video terminal/USB terminal associating processing unit that determines, on the basis of inherent information transmitted from the information processing apparatus, whether or not the information processing apparatus is connected to a video input terminal of the display, and specifies the video input terminal connected to the information processing apparatus.

  • Patent number: 9798397
Abstract: Pen pressure can be controlled in detail only by a positional detection controlling side of a touch panel. Thus, pen pressure data will not be required to be transmitted from a touch pen to the touch panel, the touch pen itself will require no batteries, and neither the touch pen nor the touch panel requires a communication apparatus, thus reducing the weight of the touch pen itself and reducing the size thereof. Comprised is a touch panel system for measuring output signals of at least two adjacent sensor lines to obtain an input position (x, y) of an indicator and information (z) of a capacitance value from a difference value therebetween; comprising a pen pressure converting section 616D for converting the information (z) of the capacitance value into pen pressure data, wherein the input position (x, y) and the pen pressure data are transmitted to a drawing controlling section.

  • Patent number: 8918815
Abstract: The television (1) includes: an infrared radiation receiver (119) which receives from a user an instruction to select a program cell; and a CPU (118) which generates a user interface screen of an electronic program table to be displayed on an LCD (110). The CPU (118) generates the user interface screen of the electronic program table such that a time zone item column located in a left direction of a selected program cell and a time zone item column located in a right direction of the selected program cell are indicated with deep blue, and other time zone item columns are indicated with light blue.

  • Publication number: 20120314136
Abstract: A television receiver, which is an image display device of the present invention, includes an EPG/OSD/reservation processing section (24) including a CLUT application section (1) and a CLUT update section (2). The CLUT application section (1) causes an OSD area to be divided into a plurality of division areas, and CLUTs are applied to the respective plurality of division areas. The CLUT update section (2) causes a CLUT, which has been applied, to be changed to another CLUT so as to realize palette animation in one of the division areas. This makes it possible to provide an image display device and a method for displaying an on-screen display image, both of which enable an OSD expression with high resolution and high memory efficiency, in which OSD expression palette animation can be realized at a high speed regardless of the number of colors used in original image data of the OSD.
