    Abstract: The present invention provides a multi-piece solid golf ball having good shot feel, while keeping the characteristics inherent to the solid golf ball, i.e. excellent flight performance. The present invention related to a multi-piece solid golf ball comprising a core, one or more intermediate layers formed on the core, and a cover covering the intermediate layer, wherein at least one of the intermediate layer is mainly composed of a heated mixture comprising at least two materials selected from the following three materials:(A) ionomer resin,(B) thermoplastic elastomer having terminal OH groups, and(C) either epoxy-group containing styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer or epoxy-group containing styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer, and the intermediate layer has a JIS-C hardness of 40 to 80, and the core has a JIS-C hardness difference ranging from its center to the surface of not more than 15.
