Patent number: 7930124Abstract: This invention provides a protection control measurement system, with excellent economy and maintainability. In the protection control measurement terminal 1, electric quantity acquisition and transmitter 14-1 determines synchro-phasor quantities from electric quantity data and transmits the synchro-phasor quantities to arrival time-guaranteed transmitter 15-1. The arrival time-guaranteed transmitter 15-1 transmits in real- time the synchro-phasor quantities to the parent station device 3. Setting value transmitter 14-2 transmits setting value data to the message transmitter 15-2, which performs message transmission to the parent station device 3 over the communication network 2. In the parent station device 3, electric quantity arithmetic processor 32-1 calculates electric quantities as close as possible to true values by multiplying received synchro-phasor quantities by setting value data.Type: GrantFiled: September 11, 2008Date of Patent: April 19, 2011Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha ToshibaInventors: Hironori Sakashita, Katsuhiko Sekiguchi, Yoshinori Takei

Patent number: 5764462Abstract: According to a field ground fault detector, a predetermined resistor is connected in series to a predetermined DC voltage. A DC voltage is applied between an N electrode side field circuit of a generator and a ground through the resistor. A voltage applied between terminals of the resistor is input to a low-pass filter. A voltage applied between the N electrode side field circuit and the ground is input to another low-pass filter. Output voltages of the low-pass filters are input to a level ratio determining circuit. The level ratio determining circuit outputs the determined result of the ground fault to the outside of the field ground fault detector corresponding to these voltages. Thus, even if the DC voltage varies or a higher harmonic voltage takes place in a generator of a thyristor exciting type, it does not affect the detecting sensitivity of the ground fault.Type: GrantFiled: April 24, 1997Date of Patent: June 9, 1998Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha ToshibaInventors: Toshio Tanaka, Yoshinori Takei, Tetsuo Ugawa

Patent number: 5691643Abstract: An apparatus detects a ground fault of an exciting circuit and a field circuit of an AC exciting variable speed rotating machine. The exciting circuit outputs an excited voltage controlled a frequency and/or an amplitude, and the field circuit of the AC exciting variable speed rotating machine is applied a field current by the excited voltage of the exciting circuit. A ground resistance is connected between a neutral point and a ground. The apparatus detects a current flowing from a ground to a neutral point through the ground resistance, and detects the ground fault based upon the detected current. Therefore, the apparatus can detect a ground fault of a field circuit and an exciting circuit of an AC exciting rotating machine during the AC exciting rotating machine operation with certainty.Type: GrantFiled: October 6, 1995Date of Patent: November 25, 1997Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha ToshibaInventors: Takashi Ishiguro, Yoshinori Takei

Patent number: 5583709Abstract: Method and apparatus automatically select, in a playback mode, a noise reduction circuitry of a noise reduction system by which a middle-to-high frequency signal of a low level included in a recording signal is compressed in dynamic range for recording and the compressed middle-to-high frequency signal is expanded in dynamic range in the playback mode, thereby suppressing middle to high frequency noises in the reproduction signal. A level difference .DELTA.L between the maximum and minimum signals of the low frequency component in the reproduction signal and a level difference .DELTA.H between the maximum and minimum signals of the middle-to-high frequency component in the reproduction signal are obtained. While comparing the magnitudes of the two level differences obtained, the selection of an appropriate noise reduction circuitry is performed so that the two level differences are made almost equal to each other.Type: GrantFiled: August 5, 1994Date of Patent: December 10, 1996Assignee: Pioneer Electronic CorporationInventors: Satoru Kodaira, Shirou Suzuki, Yoshinori Takei
