  • Patent number: 9744949
Abstract: Provided is a vehicle speed control device with respect to which the speed at which a centrifugal brake operates can be easily changed from the outside without disassembling the device. A brake drum 11 is fixed to a vehicle body 101a. A brake shoe 23 rotates around a rotary shaft 20 of the wheel 101c, and reduces the rotation speed of the wheel 101c as a result of coming into contact with an inner circumferential side face of the brake drum 11. A spring 24 prevents contact between the brake drum 11 and the brake shoe 23 when the rotation speed of the wheel 101c is lower than or equal to a predetermined speed, and permits contact between the brake drum 11 and the brake shoe 23 when the rotation speed of the wheel 101c exceeds the predetermined speed. A position change mechanism 25 is installed within the brake drum 11, and changes the position of an end of the spring 24 on one end side.

  • Patent number: 7701068
Abstract: A multi-chip package suppresses a change, which is caused by packaging, of a circuit characteristic of an analog circuit of which characteristic is adjusted by a nonvolatile register. A digital circuit and an analog circuit are formed on a semiconductor chip. A nonvolatile register is also formed on the semiconductor chip to store information to adjust a circuit characteristic of the analog circuit. The circuit characteristic of the analog circuit is adjusted according to the information stored in this nonvolatile register. Then, another dummy semiconductor chip is attached with an adhesive being superimposed on a circuit area of the analog circuit to build a multi-chip package.

  • Patent number: 6840340
Abstract: An electric-powered vehicle includes electric-powered drivers for driving wheels, a controller for controlling the electric-powered drivers to generate an assisting driving force in accordance with a vehicle operating force by an operator, and a brake-operation unit for applying braking forces on the wheels. The vehicle also includes a brake-operation detector for detecting a brake operation performed by the brake-operation unit. When the brake-operation detector detects the brake operation, the controller controls the drivers to reduce the assisting driving force. This structure solves a problem caused by simultaneous generation of the braking forces and the assisting driving force.

  • Patent number: 5771988
Abstract: A motor-driven vehicle includes a vehicle body. A wheel has a fixed axle secured to the vehicle body. A driving arrangement which includes a driving unit and a battery is built in the wheel. A manipulating unit is mounted on the vehicle body, which produces an electrical signal to be supplied to the driving arrangement. The fixed axle has a hollow in it, and a signal line interconnecting the manipulating unit and the driving arrangement is disposed in the hollow in the axle.
