Publication number: 20080006104Abstract: A rotational power transfer device and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The rotational power transfer device includes a first rotary member and a second rotary member. The first rotary member has an inner periphery formed with a solid lubricating layer composed of a chemical film and molybdenum disulfide. The second rotary member has an outer cylindrical periphery applied with a layer of grease including a mixture of oil with a higher frictional coefficient than that of lubricating oil and molybdenum disulfide. The second rotary member is press fitted to the first rotary member to allow the outer cylindrical periphery thereof to be placed in face-to-face relation to the inner cylindrical periphery of the first rotary member, enabling a rotational power in excess to be stably absorbed without causing any increase in the rotational power at which the slippage occurs.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 8, 2007Publication date: January 10, 2008Applicant: DENSO CORPORATIONInventors: Yukio Nawa, Mitsukazu Hattori, Yoshinori Yamaguchi

Publication number: 20070227329Abstract: A method of manufacturing an industrial component is provided which can highly accurately form through holes in a target object even with a narrow bar width and a long bar length. The method is for manufacturing an industrial component having through holes with a high aspect ratio by using a punch and a die. The punch has leading ends formed into punching cutters and serving as stacking axes of plural sheets of punch materials. The plural sheets of punch materials are punched by the punch and thereafter kept held by a side surface of the punch. When a given punch material is held by the side surface of the punch, a next punch material is punched and stacked, with the leading ends of the punch projecting farther than the lowest surface of the given punch material.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 20, 2007Publication date: October 4, 2007Applicant: NGK Insulators, Ltd.Inventors: Kazumasa Kitamura, Yoshinori Yamaguchi

Publication number: 20070127788Abstract: To prevent detection of facial images for whom detection is unnecessary, without reducing the detection ratio of registered players from facial images. An image acquisition unit acquires an image taken by a camera, and provides the image to a masking process unit. The masking process unit reads a masking pattern that has already been adjusted by a masking pattern adjustment unit and a movable masking area setting unit so that characteristic quantities of a facial image that does not need to be recognized as a facial image cannot be detected, from a masking pattern recording unit. A masking process is applied to the image provided, and the masked image is provided to a facial image extraction unit. The facial image extraction unit extracts a rectangular shaped facial image, and provides the facial image to a transmission unit. The transmission unit transmits the rectangular facial image provided to a face recognition server.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 15, 2006Publication date: June 7, 2007Applicant: OMRON CorporationInventors: Takeshi Kakinuma, Mitsunori Sugiura, Yoshinori Yamaguchi, Takamitsu Ishikawa, Masataka Kimura

Patent number: 6813829Abstract: In a method for removing punched fragments in a workpiece formed using a punch and a die, the workpiece, which is tightly attached to a stripper, is lifted without extracting the punch from the perforations formed in the workpiece, subsequently pushing back the punch lifted from the die so as to make it protrude slightly from the bottommost end of the perforations, and performing an operation for removing punched fragments in that condition. The method for removing punched fragments can easily be performed even if only a very narrow space is available in a counterbore of a die, and can ensure that no punched fragments remain inside the perforations, and therefore can improve yield of a product being fabricated. A method for producing an article by punching inclusive of the method for removing the punched fragments is also disclosed herein.Type: GrantFiled: April 23, 2002Date of Patent: November 9, 2004Assignee: NGK Insulators, Ltd.Inventors: Yukihisa Takeuchi, Hiroyuki Tsuji, Kazumasa Kitamura, Yoshinori Yamaguchi
