  • Publication number: 20240147067
Abstract: Disclosed is an imaging apparatus that includes an autofocus processing section and a focus range control section. The autofocus processing section executes autofocus control over a subject within a focus range that is set as a range of a depth-direction distance. The focus range control section changes the settings of the focus range after the subject is focused under the autofocus control.

  • Publication number: 20240121503
Abstract: The present technology relates to image processing apparatus and method, and a program which enable appropriate live view display. The image processing apparatus includes a control section configured to select, in a case in which multiple captured images for recording are continuously captured, whether to cause black out-free live view display for sequentially displaying one of the captured images and one or multiple inter-frame images that are captured between capturing of the captured image and capturing of next captured image and that are not for recording, to be carried out, or cause black out live view display for alternately providing a backout display period in which no image is displayed and a display period in which at least the inter-frame images are sequentially displayed, to be carried out. The present technology can be applied to a camera.

  • Publication number: 20230185163
Abstract: Provided are a device and a method by which high-precision auto focus (AF) processing can be performed while a focus lens or a zoom lens is being operated. An interchangeable lens acquires position information regarding a focus lens and a zoom lens at a predetermined time interval during an exposure time period of detection information acquisition pixels for use in calculation of a defocus amount (DF), and outputs the position information to an imaging device. The imaging device calculates the defocus amount (DF) by using information regarding the detection information acquisition pixels, calculates a reference focus lens position (Ref_fc) by using points, on a cam curve, corresponding to the inputted lens position information, calculates a target focus lens position (Tgt_fc) in an in-focus position, from the reference focus lens position (Ref_fc) and the defocus amount (DF), and outputs the target focus lens position (Tgt_fc) to the interchangeable lens.

  • Patent number: 11637966
Abstract: An object is to improve accuracy of autofocus control. Accordingly, an imaging device according to the present technology includes an autofocus control unit that performs operation of autofocus according to a predetermined manipulation, and a diaphragm mechanism control unit that performs opening and closing control of a diaphragm mechanism according to an amplification factor of a distance measurement signal during the operation of autofocus. Thus, during the operation of autofocus, control different from control of the diaphragm mechanism based on an imaging setting is performed, and accuracy of the autofocus control is improved.
