  • Publication number: 20030030019
Abstract: To make it possible to easily produce a solenoid for a solenoid valve at low cost by reducing the number of parts and assembling steps. In a solenoid 3A for a solenoid valve, a pole face 4c is formed on an end wall portion 4b of a magnetic case 4 which covers a bobbin 7 around which a coil 6 is wound, thereby allowing the end wall portion 4b to function as a stationary core, an end surface of a moving core 5 inserted in center holes 7a and 8a of the bobbin 7 and the magnetic plate 8 is set opposed to the pole face 4c, and the moving core 5 is adsorbed by the end wall portion 4b by energizing the coil 6.

  • Patent number: 6251361
Abstract: The potassium titanate of the present invention comprises particles of a diameter of 3 &mgr;m or less and a length of 5 &mgr;m or more with a ratio of the length to the diameter of 3:1 or more, at a content in number of 3% or less, with no hazardous particles contained therein from the respect of health and hygiene. The potassium titanate can be produced by heating a Ti source and a K source as the raw materials to a final TiO2:K2O ratio of 5.5:1 to 6.5:1 at a temperature elevation rate of 20° C./min in the temperature region above 800° C.

  • Patent number: 6216725
Abstract: A cover for preventing misoperation is easily and certainly attached/detached to/from an operating piece for manual operation provided for a fluid pressure control device. It is attached so as not to be lost even when the cover is detached for manual operation. For this purpose, retaining grooves 7a and 7b are formed on the outer face of a plunger-type operating piece 3 provided on the top face of the body 4 so as to be projected. A cylindrical cover 5 is provided with a hook 10 which is resiliently retained by the retaining groove 7a or 7b and a string-shaped connecting member 12 which is connected to the operating piece 3, thereby preventing the cover 5 from being lost. The height of the cover 5 is set to be equal to or higher than that of the operating piece 3 in a non-operating position.

  • Patent number: 6155287
Abstract: In a fluid pressure control device such as a solenoid-controlled valve having an operating piece for manual operation which is a selector-type operating piece, a cover for preventing misoperation is attached to the selector-type operating piece. Consequently, a cover 6 for preventing misoperation comprised of a base part 10 having an attaching part 14 to be fixed to the casing and a lid part 11 which is integrally connected with the base part 10 via a bending part 12 which can be bent and stretched is attached to a selector-type operating piece 5 having a handle 5a for manual operation at the top. By bending the bending part 12, the lid part 11 can be closed between a closed position covering the handle 5a and opened an open position to release the handle 5a.

  • Patent number: 5269993
Abstract: Whiskers having a diameter of 0.1-10 .mu.m and a length of 5-200 .mu.m are pelletized and granulated into agglomerates which have a size of 0.1-10 mm and a bulk density of 0.2-1.0 kg/liter.To pelletize, powders of whiskers are moistened with water while mixing to form primary aggregates. Then, the powders and the primary aggregates are subjected to a rolling movement to cause the primary aggregates to grow into secondary aggregates having desired size distribution. Finally, the secondary aggregates are dried to obtain pelletized or granulated agglomerates of whiskers.Handling of whiskers is facilitated because the agglomerates are less bulky and less likely to fly up in the air. When blended into molding materials for fiber reinforcement, however, the agglomerates are readily disintegrated back into separated individual fibers to provide homogeneous dispersion.

  • Patent number: 4676964
Abstract: This invention concerns a process for purifying silica produced from an alkali silicate aqueous solution, which usually contains more than 200 ppm of impurities, to silica containing less than 30 ppm of impurities. Concretely, the purification process of silica comprises: dispersing silica gel, containing a lot of impurities, in water and filtering the solution; dispersing the filtered out silica gel again in an aqueous solution of pH 2 or less and filtering the aqueous solution; putting the silica gel to heat-treatment and acid-treatment with continuous stirring in order to break the inside siloxane link and dissolve out impurities therefrom and filtering the acid solution; rinsing a produced cake with pure water to wash away the inside residual solution and drying the cake.
