  • Publication number: 20100256459
Abstract: This invention provides a mechanism for making a doctor surely follow correct procedures in which the doctor confirms diagnosis information obtained by computer processing after he or she has completed interpretation. A medical diagnosis support apparatus executes diagnosis processing for acquiring medical diagnosis information from an image to be interpreted by computer processing. The medical diagnosis support apparatus accepts interpretation information as an interpretation result of the image to be interpreted, which information is input by, for example, a doctor. The medical diagnosis support apparatus calculates a degree of matching between the diagnosis information and interpretation information, and permits to present the diagnosis information acquired by the diagnosis processing when the calculated degree of matching exceeds a predetermined threshold.

  • Publication number: 20100256991
Abstract: A medical diagnosis support apparatus analyzes the interpretation report information created by a user, generates analysis result information in which each medical information extracted from the interpretation report information is associated with an item, and detects a difference for each item by comparing the diagnosis support information, in which each medical information obtained by computer processing of medical examination data is associated with an item, with the generated analysis result information. The apparatus determines an importance concerning a difference for each detected item. The apparatus then presents the detected difference, together with display of the contents of the interpretation report information, while changing the display form in accordance with the determined importance.

  • Patent number: 7738720
Abstract: An image distribution apparatus divides image data of a single frame into a plurality of blocks, orthogonally transforms the blocks and calculates transformation coefficients, quantizes the calculated transformation coefficients, codes the quantized transformation coefficients, and distributes the coded image data. The image distribution apparatus acquires the quantized transformation coefficients, stores the acquired transformation coefficients in a storage unit, calculates differences between the transformation coefficients of a first frame and the transformation coefficients of a second frame stored in the storage unit in a unit of block, counts blocks whose difference values calculated above are equal to or greater than a predetermined value as changing blocks of the first frame, and determines that the first frame has changed when the counted number of blocks is equal to or greater than a predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 7444394
Abstract: A network device control unit and method are provided in which, not all MIB objects under the control of the network management software are simultaneously acquired during startup of the network management software so the almost simultaneous flow of a large volume of SNMP packets in the LAN will not occur and along with a simultaneous reduction in the load on communications lines, the load on devices such as the printer and network board processing their SNMP packets will also become small. To accomplish this, windows allocated to individual network peripheral devices on a one to one basis and controlling the network device are utilized as device windows, and information to be displayed on the initial screen of the device window is acquired as the initial sheet and displayed. Device windows also acquire and display different sheet information on the device window when determined an entry has been made by the user requesting display of a different type of sheet information.

  • Patent number: 7362219
Abstract: When a plurality of objects having RFID tags attached are to be read, an image sensing unit performs image sensing, and at the same time an RFID reader reads an RFID tag within the image sensing range. A characteristic quantity (external appearance model) of an object obtained from a database on the basis of ID data of the RFID tag is compared with a characteristic quantity obtained by image processing of the sensed image, thereby acquiring information unique to the object. The object is discriminably specified by superimposing the acquired unique information on the object in the sensed image.
