  • Patent number: 7336742
Abstract: A frequency error correction device for an OFDM receiver is proposed. The receiver receives an OFDM signal with a preamble section and a payload section including pilot carriers. The frequency error correction device includes a first frequency correction unit for correcting a relative phase error in a predetermined period of time based upon a frequency error in the preamble section of the OFDM signal in time domain, and a second frequency correction unit for correcting a remaining phase error in every predetermined period of time based upon the pilot carriers of the OFDM signal in frequency domain.

  • Publication number: 20030211827
Abstract: The invention offers a repeater for radio communication system for eliminating a blind zone in a closed space in the radio communication system, which transmits information between a base station and a mobile station over a radio transmission medium. The repeater comprises a base station-directed unit equipped with a function of transmitting a radio signal to and receiving a radio signal from said base station, and a mobile station-directed unit equipped with a function of transmitting a radio signal to and receiving a radio signal from said mobile station. The base station-directed unit and the mobile station-directed unit are connected via a radio transmission medium over which an electromagnetic wave signal is transmitted.

  • Patent number: 5978683
Abstract: A communication apparatus used in a digital cordless telephone system, such as a personal headphone system (PHS) having a local base station and a local mode subscriber, in which, if the local mode subscriber is set for use in the local mode, the local mode subscriber can respond to signals of the public mode. If the local base station receives incoming call signals of the public mode from a public base station, the received call signals are transferred from the local base station to the local mode subscriber. This enables the incoming call signals from the public base station to be received via the public base station by the local mode subscriber even if the latter is in the local mode. If, with the local mode subscriber set to the local mode, the local base station receives incoming call signals of the public mode from the public base station, the local base station transmits the call signals to the local mode subscriber.
