    Abstract: A pair of cutter modules arranged so as to mesh with each other each include: a rotary shaft extending along a width direction intersecting with a conveyance direction of an object to be shredded; a plurality of divided cutter blocks arranged along a direction of the rotary shaft and assembled and fixed onto the rotary shaft, each of the cutter blocks including cutter portions with cutting blades, the cutter portions being arranged in a plurality of stages through intermediation of spacer portions; and a positioning mechanism configured to position an assembly of the cutter blocks and the rotary shaft so that the cutting blades of the cutter portions of each cutter block are arranged in an array inclined continuously with the cutting blades of the cutter portions of an adjacent cutter block.
