  • Patent number: 9462653
Abstract: An illumination system includes different color LEDs, a controller, and an input device. The controller controls intensities of the LEDs. The input device accepts an input corresponding to a total color of the LEDs. The input device includes a display, a pointer, and an output circuit. The display displays a chromaticity diagram. The pointer specifies a color point in the diagram. The output circuit detects the coordinates of the point and provides them to the controller. The controller includes a limiter, and a calculator. The limiter provides a limiter signal for limiting the maximum output the LED. The calculator calculates outputs of the LEDs based on the coordinates and the limiter signal so that the total color is adjusted to the point.

  • Patent number: 7073922
Abstract: A lighting apparatus includes a plurality of light-emitting diodes emitting red, blue, and green light. The plurality of light-emitting diodes emit light beams and are arranged so as to emit the light beams toward a focusing point. A control circuit is provided for controlling the intensity of light emission of each of the light-emitting diodes emitting red, blue, and green light. A concave reflector is provided for reflecting and radiating the light focused from the light-emitting diodes to the focusing point so that the light is further focused or scattered. The apparatus also has a position-changing mechanism for changing a relative position of the concave reflector relative to the focusing point of the light-emitting diodes.

  • Patent number: 6490006
Abstract: The chroma key system discriminates background and non-background by color difference. Further, the chroma key system changes background color by illuminating the background via background illumination equipment, discriminates the changing background color as background, and thereby discriminates background from non-background. The chroma key system comprises a lighted control circuit operable to control the background illumination equipment so as to provide a color changeable illumination to the background, and a background discriminating and swapping circuit operable to discriminate the subject from the background using information within an image signal based on the color changeable illumination of the background.
