  • Patent number: 7584678
Abstract: An inexpensive and high efficiency power transmission method and device with a simple structure for converting a rotational motion into a linear motion in accordance with a load is provided. A feed screw (21) and a female screw (22) having a larger diameter than the feed screw are engaged in an eccentric manner. A counterforce from a work is detected by a helical spring (28). Then, rotation restraint of the female screw (22) engaged in an eccentric manner is released, and the female screw (22) is rotated. The feed screw (21) and the female screw (22) rotate in a differential manner so that traveling speed is decreased and that pressing force is increased.

  • Patent number: 6406299
Abstract: A six-degree-of-freedom travelling system, wherein a solid is driven by eight suspending lines in six degrees of freedom. The six-degree-of-freedom travelling system can be provided as a bodily sensing machine comprising a human-riding cage: eight suspending lines in connection with the cage; eight actuators hauling and veering the respective lines for vary the position and attitude of the cage, and a controller controlling the eight actuators for constantly holding the eight lines under proper tensions, wherein the cage is travelled in six degrees of freedom.

  • Patent number: 6216581
Abstract: A fluid cylinder assembly of the kind provided with a cylinder tube in which a piston coupled by a piston rod operates. The cylinder tube has one end connected with a rod cover. The piston rod passes through an aperture in the rod cover and projects outwardly. The rod cover is associated with means for mounting the fluid cylinder assembly on a frame and a load transducer which converts a change in load axially acting thereon to a change in voltage or current and develops an electric signal. The movement of a lead wire extending outwardly of the load transducer is precluded, and the results of measurement are obtained with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Patent number: 4474525
Abstract: The present invention relates to the construction of a storage apparatus for temporarily storing a large number of yarn packages (yarn wound on cones or taper cones). The storage apparatus is so arranged that many yarn packages automatically aligned are accommodated in a small space so as to be readily taken out when required, while, for the storing, the large number of yarn packages fed thereinto are aligned on conveyers narrow in width in the direction of take-up axis, and through utilization of a yarn package holding frame which is adapted to be raised while simultaneously holding opposite sides of the yarn packages thus aligned, said holding frame is lowered during taking out of the yarn packages so as to leave the yarn packages held thereby on the conveyers, as the holding frame being further lowered.

  • Patent number: 4370781
Abstract: There is provided a clearer device located above a series of draft rolls with a predetermined number of plumbs and secured inside a cover plate rotatable and removable by means of a pivot formed in part of two side plates. This clearer device is characterized in that endless clearer members stretch between intermittently driven clearer rolls and guide members permitting said clearer members to abut front top rolls fixedly secured. A pressure member is springingly held back of said clearer members to force downward said clearer members and permit said top rolls or a top apron to come into contact with said clearer members. The clearer rolls are intermittently driven by swinging a rocking lever pivoted on the shafts of said clearer rolls via an oscillation lever and rotating a ratchet gear fixed on said roll shafts by means of engaging tooth at said rocking lever.

  • Patent number: 4339852
Abstract: This invention relates to a clearer device for use in clearing draft rolls of a spinning machine, and more particularly to a clearer device which is disposed below a series of juxtaposed draft rolls and includes an endless clearer member (hereinafter called an "apron") travelling operatively in contact with the peripheral surfaces of the draft rolls for clearing the draft rolls.

  • Patent number: 4028776
Abstract: An intermittent drive revolving clearer for drafting rollers that moves to avoid the motion of a top comb thereby permitting continuous cleaning of the drafting rollers resulting in high efficiency cleaning and improved yarn quality. A knife edge removes the waste material from the continuous clearer cloth without mixing the clearer waste material with the sliver, thereby permitting continuous operation of the clearer for long periods of time.

  • Patent number: 3940825
Abstract: A machine for automatically removing waste slivers from bobbins includes means for supplying bobbins with waste slivers or fibers to a moving endless belt which causes the bobbins to rotate, suction means for removing the slivers that were loosened by the belt, another moving endless belt having a pile that loosens and removes the remaining waste slivers from the rotating bobbins, and means for collecting the removed slivers in closed containers.
