  • Patent number: 8356607
Abstract: A smoking article includes a carbon monoxide reducing agent including particles including a calcium aluminate represented by the formula (CaO)m(Al2O3)n, where 1/6?m/n?4/1, wherein the particles have a BET specific surface area of 2 m2/g or more and less than 20 m2/g.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 5, 2011
Date of Patent: January 22, 2013
    Assignee: Japan Tobacco Inc.
Inventors: Yasunobu Inoue, Kiyohiro Sasakawa, Kazunori Sugai, Kenichi Nishimura, Yoshio Nakahara
  • Patent number: 8137964
Abstract: The present invention provides a novel method of producing a three-dimensional tissue by which cell lamination can be carried out easily. According to the method, a three-dimensional tissue in which cell layers are laminated with an extracellular matrix intervening between each pair of the adjacent cell layers is produced by: (A) forming a cell layer on a substrate; (B) bringing the cell layer formed on the substrate into contact with a solution containing a first substance and a solution containing a second substance alternately, thus forming, on the cell layer, an extracellular matrix in which the first substance and the second substance are laminated alternately; and (C) culturing a cell on the extracellular matrix to form a further cell layer.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 1, 2006
Date of Patent: March 20, 2012
Assignees: Osaka University, Sumitomo Bakelite Co., Ltd.
