  • Patent number: 8932164
Abstract: There is provided a wear-resistant chain having a high durability even in severe use environments such as those of a timing chain of an engine even though it is highly efficient and productive. A miniaturizing agent containing silicon is doped in a vanadium cementation process of a base material of steel. Vanadium carbide forming a surface-hardened layer contains a secondary phase composed of an amorphous structure containing silicon within crystal grains and a crystal grain size of the vanadium carbide is miniaturized to 1 ?m or less.

  • Publication number: 20130286440
Abstract: When a skewness of brightness of a print target image is a first skewness, print data is generated such that an ink amount of a metallic ink is a first amount. When the skewness of brightness is a second skewness that is larger than the first skewness, a print data is generated such that the ink amount is a second amount that is larger than the first amount.

  • Patent number: 7695575
Abstract: A chain pin manufacturing method that requires only one heat treatment step of forming a boundary part composed of (V, Cr) 8C7 by Cr and C in a base material at first through a cementation process in a VCl atmosphere by using Cr-rich steel as the pin base material and of forming a surface layer composed of V8C7. A Cr content in the boundary part decreases gradually toward the base material and the surface layer and the boundary part is not clearly divided. The inventive manufacturing method is simple and enables to manufacture the pin having high abrasion resistance and suitably used in a severe environment like a timing chain.

A Cr content in the boundary part decreases gradually toward the base material and the surface layer and the boundary part is not clearly divided. Accordingly, as compared to a conventional chain pin manufacturing method which has required two steps of heat treatment of forming an intermediate layer by a chrome carbide layer and of forming a surface layer as a mixed layer of vanadium and chrome carbide layers, the inventive manufacturing method is simple and enables to manufacture the pin having high abrasion resistance and suitably used in a severe environment like a timing chain.

  • Patent number: 4136305
Abstract: A power converter control apparatus comprising continuously controlled converter units and on-off controlled converter units for effecting powering control and regenerative braking control of a DC motor, which is arranged to include a unit change circuit for generating unit changing operation signals in response to a command for instructing the number of the converter units to be rendered operative from a master controllerand conduction phase signals from a phase shifter. In accordance with the unit changing operation signals, the conduction phase signals from the phase shifter are applied as a gate signal to the continuously controlled converter units in response to a powering control or a regenerative braking command, while a minimum conduction phase signal is applied as a gate signal to the on-off controlled converter units in response to a powering control command signal and a maximum conduction phase signal including a commutation marginal angle in response to a regenerative braking command signal.
