Abstract: A light-sensitive silver halide material composed of a support having thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one layer of the light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer or an adjacent layer thereof containing an oil droplet dispersion in a hydrophilic binder, the oil droplets containing the combination of (a) a polymer insoluble in water and soluble in an organic solvent; (b) a high boiling point organic solvent having a viscosity at 25.degree. C. of at least 500 cp and a boiling point of at least 120.degree. C.; and (c) at least one coupler capable of forming a non-diffusible cyan dye by a coupling reaction with an oxidized form of a primary aromatic amine developing agent.

Abstract: Photographic coupler solvents which are solid at ordinary temperature are described for incorporation in photographic emulsions and elements. The solvents are employed in combination with a cyan dye forming coupler of the specific phenol type and a discoloration inhibitor of the dihydroxybenzene ether type to improve long-term preservability of the developed cyan dye particularly by exposure to mild heat and humidity.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material containing particles of a coupler solution, comprising a cyan dye forming coupler represented by the following general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein A represents a cyan coupler residue, but the --NHCO-- group does not bond to A in the active position of A; R.sup.1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group; R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group; R.sup.3 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group or an alkoxy group; and n represents an integer of 1 to 3, and when n is 2 or more R.sup.3 may be the same or different, and a coupler solvent having a dielectric constant of 2.5 to 5. The silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material provides a color image having good fastness to heat and light as well as excellent color reproducibility.

Abstract: A color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon a green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a magenta dye forming coupler represented by the following general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sup.4 represents a halogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group; R.sup.5 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a nitro group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group or a substituted or unsubstituted acylamino group; R.sup.6 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a mono-valent organic residue; X represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being released upon coupling and exhibiting a two-equivalent property; and n represents an integer from 1 to 5 and when n represents 2 or more, R.sup.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic sensitive material is disclosed. The material is comprised of a substrate having a silver halide emulsion layer position thereon and a cyan dye forming coupler. The coupler is reresented by the general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R represents a substituted or nonsubstituted alkyl group, aryl group or heterocyclic group, X represents a group capable of releasing by an oxidative coupling reaction with a developing agent, and R.sup.1 represents a substituted or nonsubstituted alkyl group or aryl group. The coupler of the invention can be easily dissolved in a high boiling point organic solvent and makes possible production of a light sensitive material having a high dye forming rate, high maximum color density and good fastness to light. Furthermore, the couplers prevent a large decrease in density when the bleaching solution utilized has a weak oxidation ability.

Abstract: A color photographic light-sensitive material is described containing a cyan dye forming coupler represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group; R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each represents hydrogen, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an alkylcarbonyl group, an arylcarbonyl group, an alkylcarbamoyl group, an arylcarbamoyl group wherein said groups may be substituted or unsubstituted, or a nitryl group; and X represents hydrogen or a coupling-off group; also a double bond may be formed between the carbon atom at the 3-position and the carbon atoms at the 4-position.The color photographic light-sensitive material provides color images having excellent fastness to light and heat.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, said photographic light-sensitive material containing at least one cyan color-forming coupler represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein l represents 0, 1 or 2; X represents a group capable of being released upon the coupling reaction and having at least 6 carbon atoms; Y represents RCONH--, RNHCO-- or RNHCONH-- wherein R represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, an ethyl group or a methyl group substituted with one or more halogen atoms; n represents 1 or 2 and Y may be the same or different when n is 2; and the phenyl group can be substituted with a halogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms or an alkoxy group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms. The dyes formed from the cyan color-forming couplers have unusually good spectral absorption properties and exceptional fastness to light and heat.

Abstract: A process for forming color images which comprises image-wise exposing a silver halide photographic material, subjecting the exposed photographic material to color development and then fixing the developed material with a fixing bath having a pH of at least 6, the process being free from a silver bleaching (elimination) step. The process is especially suitable for application to radiographic materials.
