  • Patent number: 5987820
Abstract: A glass holder mounted to a raising/lowering member of a window regulator of an automobile and holding a window glass, comprising: a holding member which holds the window glass; a mounting member mounted to the raising/lowering member; and a connecting structure for connecting the holding member to the mounting member such that the holding member is rotatable with respect to the mounting member.

  • Patent number: 5953863
Abstract: A mounting jig for positioning and adhering respective temporarily-retaining clips of a clip set for a window glass at a peripheral edge portion of the window glass includes a body, two nippers positioned at an end portion of the body which nip a pair of strut members of the clip set, and a positioner provided for each nipper which abuts an edge of the window glass to position the nippers at the peripheral edge portion of the window glass.

  • Patent number: 5673904
Abstract: A temporarily-retaining clip set for a window glass includes two temporarily-retaining clips for a window glass, each temporarily-retaining clip for a window glass having a base plate, a first surface of the base plate being adhered to a peripheral edge portion of a window glass, and elastic supporting bodies extending from a second surface of the base plate which is opposite the first surface, the elastic supporting bodies engaging a mounting flange provided at an edge portion of an opening portion in which the window glass is mounted; and strut members connecting the second surfaces of the base plates of the two temporarily-retaining clips such that the second surfaces face each other with a predetermined gap being formed therebetween, the strut members enabling cancellation of connection of the base plates. Accordingly, the two temporarily-retaining clips are nipped by a mounting jig via the strut members, and are adhered to the window glass in succession.

  • Patent number: 5660513
Abstract: A stud clip for mating with a threaded stud bolt projecting outwardly from a base member, such as, for example, an automobile body, is used to mount an elongate article, such as, for example, an automobile fuel line, upon the automobile body. The stud clip comprises a plurality of latch members for engaging a threaded shank portion of the stud bolt, and the latch members have a predetermined thickness dimension, which determines the flexibility or rigidity of such latch members, in order to provide the latch clip with a relatively low or small insertion force, however, in order to provide the stud clip with a relatively high or large withdrawal or pull-off force, stopper members are provided in conjunction with and beneath the latch members so as to prevent the latch members from bending or flexing in the opposite direction attendant the attempted withdrawal or removal of the stud clip from the threaded stud bolt. Consequently, the withdrawal or pull-off force is substantially increased or enhanced.

  • Patent number: 5596794
Abstract: A plastic surface fastener whose surface fastener members can be engaged by a small force includes two surface fastener members each having a plastic base and multiple projecting members having identically sized engagement heads and standing upright on the base as arranged in a matrix of prescribed pitch. The shape of the engaging heads of both surface fastener members as viewed from the top is that obtained by cutting off segments from four sides of a circle, and selected projecting members of one surface fastener member are removed in an appropriate pattern for providing room for the projecting members of the other surface fastener member to escape when the projecting members of the one fastener member are forced into spaces enclosed by the projecting members of the other fastener member.

  • Patent number: 5460252
Abstract: A one-way rotary damper comprising a housing, a rotor consisting of a braking disk accommodated in a cavity of the housing and a shaft unitary with the braking disk and projecting toward the outside of the housing, viscous oil filling the housing cavity for applying shearing resistance against rotation of the rotor, a driven gear rotatably mounted upon the end of the rotor shaft projecting outside the housing so as to be free to rotate with respect thereto and formed on its surface facing the housing with a concentric depression consisting of a shallow circular depression and a deep outer annular groove surrounding the circular depression, a coupling disk which is identical in diameter with the circular depression and is fixed on the end of the rotor shaft projecting outside the housing so as to be disposed upon the circular depression, and a clutch spring disposed so as to extend along a radially outer surface of the coupling disk and a radially inner surface of the outer annular groove for enabling the driv
