  • Patent number: 7251950
Abstract: There is provided a heating/cooling system capable of reducing power consumption. The heating/cooling system has a receiving room capable of using hot air and cold air in a switching manner, and comprises a refrigerant circuit which comprises a compressor, a gas cooler, a radiator, an expansion valve, an evaporator, and the like, in which carbon dioxide is sealed as a refrigerant, and whose high pressure side becomes supercritical pressure. The inside of the receiving room is heated by the radiator and cooled by the evaporator.

  • Patent number: 7228700
Abstract: An object is to provide a heating/cooling system capable of achieving reduction of power consumption, and enhancement of performance in a heating/cooling system usable in such a manner as to be switched to be hot/cold. The heating/cooling system having a storage chamber usable in such a manner as to be switched to be hot/cold, comprises: a refrigerant circuit comprising a compressor, a gas cooler, a pressure reducing device, an evaporator and the like, containing carbon dioxide sealed as a refrigerant therein, and having a supercritical pressure on a high-pressure side; a radiator through which the refrigerant flowing out of the gas cooler flows before entering the pressure reducing device; and an air blower which sends air through the gas cooler, the inside of the storage chamber is heated by the radiator, the inside of the storage chamber is cooled by the evaporator, and the air blower is stopped in a case where the inside of the storage chamber is heated by the radiator.

  • Patent number: 6824367
Abstract: A multi-stage compression type rotary compressor 10 is provided with an electrical-power element 14, the first and second rotary compression elements 32, 34 driven by a rotary shaft 16 of the electrical-power element 14 in a sealed vessel 12. The refrigerant compressed by the first rotary compression element 32 is compressed by the second rotary compression element 34. The refrigerant is combustible. The refrigerant compressed by the first rotary compression element 32 is discharged to the sealed vessel 12. The discharged medium pressure refrigerant is compressed by the second rotary compression element 34. Additionally, the displacement volume ratio of the second rotary compression element 34 to the first rotary compression element 32 is set not less than 60% and not more than 90%. By using the multi-stage compression type rotary compressor, a rotary compressor using a combustible refrigerant can be carried out.
