  • Patent number: 4524018
Abstract: Lasting fragrant article formed by impregnating a pregnant with a composition prepared by compounding a single perfume or blend of perfumes with a compound represented by the general formula:R.sub.a Si(OR').sub.b (OR").sub.cwherein R, R', and R" represent hydrocarbon residues and R" represents a group which develops aroma in the form of R"OH; a+b+c=4; and c.gtoreq.1; or its product formed by hydrolysis or dehydration condensation. The fragrant article is characterized by the use of particular compounds, resulting in persistent aroma, and it is subject to very little change in the fragrance tone.

  • Patent number: 4385887
Abstract: A combustion control apparatus comprises a premix combustion burner requiring primary air, an injector disposed in a primary air passage and including a constricted section having a fixed diameter and length, an enlarged section communicating with the constricted section and a fuel injecting port disposed concentrically with the constricted section and in a predetermined region, and a pressure regulator disposed in a fuel feed passage communicating with the fuel injecting port, the arrangement being such that the pressure regulator is controlled so that the pressure difference between the outlet section of the pressure regulator and the inlet section of the injector may be within the fixed range of the pressure difference produced between the inlet and constricted sections of the injector on the basis of the amount of primary air at the time of the lowest input, thereby maintaining the ratio between the amounts of air and fuel at a constant value and securing combustion stability and high combustion efficienc

  • Patent number: 4365488
Abstract: A universal joint is composed of first and second yokes each having two through holes, a hollow rectangular parallelepiped support member positioned to cooperate with the first and second yokes, the support member having five rectangular plate sections leaving a rectangular opening, and formed with four through holes, the adjacent rectangular plate sections being completely integral with each other at connecting edges thereof, and pins insertable into the through holes of the yokes and of the support member so as to connect the yokes with the support member, thereby producing a universal joint light in weight and high in torsional strength.

  • Patent number: 4155318
Abstract: A looper comprising a looper main body of steel and a blade of cemented carbide alloy. The looper main body includes a mounting portion, a vertical portion provided at the right end of the mounting portion, a horizontal portion extending from the upper end of the vertical portion horizontally rightward and a tip portion extending downward from the right end of the horizontal portion. The blade is attached to a continuous hook-shaped recessed portion formed in the main body and defined by the inner edges of the vertical portion, the horizontal portion and the tip portion. The looper is highly resistant to wear, flexible, inexpensive to manufacture and capable of efficiently cutting chemical fibers which are difficult to cut.

  • Patent number: 4088828
Abstract: A printed circuit board wherein a conductor pattern is printed on an insulating base, first solder resist layers are formed on the surface of the conductor pattern remaining lands which are for soldering thereon, second solder resist layers for prevention of bridging for preventing bridging of solder are formed at least at portions where the gap between the lands is narrow, and thereby electronic parts such as an IC can be reliably assembled on the printed circuit board.
