  • Patent number: 10151619
Abstract: A testing method for testing a liquid flowmeter, the method including introducing a test liquid and a sealant having a specific gravity smaller than that of the test liquid into a weighing tank until an outlet of a pipe is submerged in the test liquid; causing the test liquid to pass through the pipe; acquiring readings of a weighing scale configured to measure a weight of the weighing tank at multiple time points, and time information representing the time points; acquiring readings of the liquid flowmeter; calculating a standard flow rate of the test liquid based on the readings of the weighing scale at the multiple time points and the time information; and calculating an instrumental error between a measured flow rate based on the readings of the liquid flowmeter and the standard flow rate.

  • Patent number: 5351048
Abstract: A 1-bit high speed method for analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion of an analog input signal of a given form is provided for accomplishing a more accurate digital-to-analog conversion of a digitized signal at a higher speed and over a wider frequency range at a comparable data rate to relatively lower speed and narrower frequency range conventional systems. The method comprises the steps of emphasizing the analog input signal to form a high frequency emphasized signal; processing the emphasized signal to form a 1-bit digital signal; and low pass filtering the digital signal to obtain an analog signal of a form substantially the same as the form of the analog input signal without use of a multi-bit dequantizer for digital-to-analog conversion. The invention also provides a novel 1-bit, high speed processing system for carrying out the foregoing method.

  • Patent number: 5073777
Abstract: The invention is structured to add each output signal of a plurality of signal converters connected in parallel, after a common signal is inputted to and quantized in the above plurality of signal converters, having a noise generators which input noise generated utilizing random variables unrelated to each other to respective quantizers within the above plurality of signal converters, so that quantization noise, Q, or the like can be effectively averaged, and a highly reliable signal conversion device, which can ensure an enough dynamic range across a wide frequency region, can be provided. Also, the invention is structured to add each output signal of a plurality of signal converters connected in parallel, after a common input signal is inputted to and quantized in the above plurality of signal converters, so that a highly reliable signal conversion device similar to the above can be provided.
