Patent number: 11091068Abstract: A back frame, which forms a framework of a seatback, includes a back side frame, a stopper, and an extending portion. The back side frame is rotatable with respect to a cushion frame in seat front-rear directions. The stopper is fixed to the back side frame and includes a contact portion. When the contact portion contacts a contact target portion that is immobile with respect to the cushion frame, the stopper restricts rotation of the back side frame. The extending portion extends from the stopper in the seat front-rear directions. The extending portion is fixed to the back side frame in at least a part of the extending portion.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 2020Date of Patent: August 17, 2021Assignee: TOYOTA BOSHOKU KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventors: Yoshihiro Motoi, Yoshiro Hara, Masanori Ogihara

Patent number: 10322650Abstract: A movable rail is slidable relative to a fixed rail and supports a seat. A projection protrudes towards the seat from an upper surface of the movable rail that faces the seat and fixes the seat to the movable rail. A rail cover is elastic, and configured to cover the upper surface of the movable rail. The rail cover extends in a direction parallel to a longitudinal axis of the fixed rail and comprises a slit that allows the projection to pass through. A spacer plate having a strip shape is attached to the upper surface of the movable rail and extends in a direction parallel to a longitudinal axis of the movable rail, and is configured to comprise a through-hole for the projection to pass through.Type: GrantFiled: November 9, 2017Date of Patent: June 18, 2019Assignee: TOYOTA BOSHOKU KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventors: Kenji Furukawa, Keigo Matsumoto, Yoshiro Hara

Patent number: 8833857Abstract: A vehicle seat includes a pair of lower rails that are attached to a vehicle floor and extend parallel to one another, a pair of upper rails that are slidably attached to the lower rails, and a seat cushion that is attached to the pair of upper rails. The seat cushion includes i) a pair of pipe members, each pipe member being a single member that includes a long portion that extends along the corresponding upper rail, and a leg portion that extends downward from a first end portion of the long portion and that is attached to the corresponding upper rail; ii) a first connecting pipe that connects the first end portions of the pair of long portions together; and iii) a pair of plate members extending from the upper rails to the long portions, and attached to second end portions of the long portions.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 2011Date of Patent: September 16, 2014Assignee: Toyota Boshoku Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Yoshiro Hara, Yuichi Matsui, Yukinori Sugiura, Tatsuya Ono, Takashi Okada

Publication number: 20120025579Abstract: A vehicle seat includes a back frame including: a back frame body that is formed by bending a pipe into a rectangular form such that both ends of the pipe are located at one of four corner portions of the rectangular form; and a pair of side frames that are joined, respectively, to a first corner portion which is one of the corner portions of the back frame body and at which the both ends of the pipe are located and a second corner portion that is another of the corner portions of the back frame body and is laterally next to the first corner portion. One of the ends of the pipe is butt-welded to one of the side frames.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 21, 2011Publication date: February 2, 2012Applicant: TOYOTA BOSHOKU KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventors: Tatsuya ONO, Yuichi MATSUI, Yukinori SUGIURA, Yoshiro HARA, Takashi OKADA

Patent number: 7992941Abstract: An armrest attaching structure for attaching an armrest to a vehicle seat having a seat back frame, the seat back frame having a side frame element that is connected to a base member at a lower end portion thereof, may include an armrest attachment member having an armrest attaching portion and a connecting portion. The armrest attaching portion is connected to the armrest. The connecting portion is connected to the side frame element of the seat back frame at a position closer to the lower end portion of the side frame element than the armrest attaching portion.Type: GrantFiled: December 2, 2008Date of Patent: August 9, 2011Assignee: Toyota Boshoku Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Yoshiro Hara

Publication number: 20020179946Abstract: In a channel layer made of SiGe containing C, the Ge composition varies linearly from 0% to 50% from one end closer to a silicon buffer layer toward the other end closer to a silicon cap layer, and C is contained at 0.5% selectively in a region where the Ge composition is 40% to 50% (i.e., a region where it exceeds 30%). By containing C at 0.5% in a region where the Ge composition is 40% to 50%, the strain amounts can be reduced by about 12% and 10%, respectively, while Ev is not substantially changed. It is possible to reduce a threshold value and to increase a driving current while ensuring a large critical thickness of the SiGe channel layer.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 20, 2002Publication date: December 5, 2002Inventors: Yoshiro Hara, Takeshi Takagi, Minoru Kubo
