  • Publication number: 20240138263
Abstract: A light emitting element of one or more embodiments includes a first electrode, a second electrode oppositely to the first electrode, and an emission layer between the first electrode and the second electrode. The light emitting element of one or more embodiments includes a polycyclic compound represented by a specific chemical structure in the emission layer, thereby showing improved emission efficiency and life characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20050180109
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a heat pipe which is high in heat transfer performance and reliability and can be low priced, compact and lightweight, and has flexibility, and a computer provided with the heat pipe. At least a part of a conduit (1) constituting a container of a self-excited oscillation heat pipe is formed in a shape having flexibility such as a waved bent shape. Alternatively, at least a part of the container of the self-excited oscillation heat pipe is formed of a material having flexibility such as super elastic alloys.

  • Patent number: 5507061
Abstract: A rotary brush floor polisher is provided with an upper and a lower disk member movably connected with each other through a shock absorbing member interposed therebetween, on which lower disk member is fixedly mounted a polishing brush or pad which is rotatably driven by an electric motor to glide over a floor to polish and clean the same. The polisher is characterized by the shock absorbing member each of which is interposed: between the upper and the lower disk member; and between the electric motor and a platform on which the motor is mounted. The shock absorbing member has a simple and compact construction which: realizes reduction in size of the polisher; reduces vibrations and noise in operation; and eliminates a fear that the operator's fingers and like objects are sandwiched between the upper and the lower disk member by mistake in operation to ensure a safety operation of the polisher.

  • Patent number: 4898231
Abstract: A heat-pipe system of the two-phase fluid loop type comprising a liquid duct as a main loop for circulating a working fluid in liquid phase by a pump, an evaporator having a first capillary structure to which the working fluid is supplied from high pressure side of the main loop, a condenser having a second capillary structure for returning liquid condensate to the low pressure side of the man loop after radiating heat in the condenser, and a bypass pipe connected between the evaporator and the radiator for transporting vapor evaporated in the evaporator through its capillary structure to the second capillary of the condenser. With this construction, since the working fluid is circulated by the pump while the supply of the liquid corresponding to that evaporated in the capillary structure of the evaporator is carried out by the capillary force in the evaporator, a large amount of heat can be transported over long distances.

  • Patent number: 4676300
Abstract: A heat radiation control device in accordance with the present invention has a construction that includes a heat transmitting part which receives heat transfer from the heat source side, a freely expansible and contractible bellows case installed between the heat transmitting part and the frame, having a working fluid sealed in its interior, a heat receiving part on the radiator side arranged facing the heat transmitting part, to which the heat transmitting part is able to make contact by the elongation of the bellows case, and an energizing means for energizing the heat transmitting part at a position separated by a fixed distance with respect to the heat receiving part.

  • Patent number: 4454910
Abstract: A heat radiation control device comprises a base plate with an apparatus as a heat generating body mounted on one face thereof, a radiating plate disposed on the other face side of said base plate at a given space therebetween, and a bellows having a contact plate facing the radiating plate and connected with the other face of said base plate, the container being capable of expanding and contracting so that the contact plate may be brought into contact with and separated from the radiating plate. A working fluid is sealed in the bellows to expand the bellows so that the contact plate may abut against the radiating plate to radiate heat through the radiating plate when the amount of heat from the apparatus transferred through the base plate exceeds a predetermined value.
