  • Patent number: 4727377
Abstract: A pair of antenna elements are mounted on a glass of a rear quarter window of a vehicle. Feed points of these elements are provided at a corner portion of the window. One antenna element extends clockwise about the center of the window glass and the other antenna element extends counterclockwise thereabout from their corresponding feed points. The characteristics of both antenna elements significantly differ and complement each other. It is convenient for a diversity reception system. An auxiliary element branches from one antenna element to extend along the other antenna element.
