Abstract: A money processing system includes a terminal device that stores therein as user information, a terminal user identifier for identifying a user and a code used for confirming the user for security reasons entered by the user, judges whether the received user information matches the stored user information when the user information that is entered at a money handling device is received through a port used for data communication with the money handling device, and establishes a connection with the money handling device from which the user information was received via the port if the pieces of the user information match, and the money handling device for entering the user information.

Abstract: A money handling machine of the present invention is provided with: a communication interface that can be connected to a communication network; and a web server portion that generates instruction data for providing an instruction to control the money handling machine, through a terminal device connected to the communication network, and that uses the communication interface to transmit the instruction data. The instruction data is in a form that can be browsed by a web browser included in the terminal device, and the web server portion receives a browsing requirement from the web browser and transmits the instruction data to the web browser, which made the requirement. The web server portion transmits the instruction data with a HTTP protocol or a HTTPS protocol.

Abstract: A traversing method for a long and heavy article in which the article is lifted by at least two traversing units each having two trucks, the traversing unit being traversable along a flat area for traverse. The traversing method can be carried out by using a traversing apparatus having at least two traversing units each having two trucks at least one of which being a driving truck having a driving system, while the other may be an auxiliary truck devoid of the driving system. The driving truck is equipped with a truck frame, driving wheels, driving system, lifting device and a steering device. The auxiliary truck can have the same construction as the driving truck, although it is devoid of the driving system. Alternatively, both of the trucks of each traversing unit may be the driving trucks.

Abstract: An apparatus for handling a large-sized article such as a window assembly for a car has a carriage movable three-dimensionally in X-, Y- and Z-directions, and a vacuum holding device tiltably and fixably secured to the carriage. This apparatus conveys the article to a remote place and holds it while it is being secured to an object such as the wall of a car, thus improving the efficiency and safety of the work.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for assembling a structure of rolling stock or other vehicles. The method includes: supporting the structure with a long box through fastening devices to a framework on the side of the structure, rotating the structure around an axis passing closely through the center of gravity of the structure and the long box, and bringing the structure to a halt in an arbitrary position to perform various assembly operations. The apparatus includes: a structure retaining system having a long box which supports the structure lengthwise; cylindrical shafts attached at both ends of the long box and passing through the center of gravity of the structure and the long box; rotational drive devices each having a drive mechanism for driving cylindrical rollers which support the cylindrical shafts on the retaining system; and a pedestal supporting the entire system.

Abstract: An adjustable jig with curved surfaces comprising a plurality of rails arranged parallel to constitute a curved surface. The surface plate comprises a pedestal on which each of the rails rests. The height of the pedestal can be varied so as to modify a curvature of the curved surface. For this purpose, the jig comprises a device for lifting the rails and a device for shifting the pedestal.
