  • Publication number: 20090147127
Abstract: A lens hood device includes a barrier case (11) to cover the front and back of a lens barrier unit (32) in an optical axis direction and to have a non-circular opening at a position passed by the optical axis, and a plurality of lens barriers (14 to 17) arranged rotatably in parallel with respect to a main plane of the barrier case (11) and made rotatable between a position to cover the whole face of the opening and a position to open the opening. The lens barriers (14 to 17) are contained in the barrier case (11) in order not to be exposed at the opening, when they are positioned to open the opening. The thus provided lens hood device can improve the operability without enlarging the size of an image pickup device.

  • Patent number: 7400358
Abstract: The card attachment apparatus is provided such that, when a card-like recording medium is inserted or pulled out, the attachment unit is rotated a predetermined angle to project from the device and a blocking cover is simultaneously pulled in, thereby allowing memory card to be pinched and taken out in an easy manner. This attachment unit has top face cover on which operation button is provided, thereby eliminating a space in a main body of camcorder in which operation button is provided. When opening section is moved, the attachment unit is opened and the memory card can be inserted or pulled out.

  • Publication number: 20050174477
Abstract: An objective is to provide a card attachment apparatus that can provide the downsizing of camcorder (101) while securing the operationality, style, and design. Memory card (103) is generally stored in a covered manner by allowing a cut-out section provided at one end of an attachment unit to be blocked by a blocking cover. The card attachment apparatus is provided such that, when memory card (103) is inserted or pulsed out, the attachment unit is rotated a predetermined angle to project from the device and a blocking cover (not shown) is simultaneously pulled in, thereby allowing memory card (103) to be pinched and taken out in an easy manner. This attachment unit has top face cover 104 on which operation button (102) is provided, thereby eliminating a space in a main body of camcorder (101) in which operation button (102) is provided. When opening section (105) is moved in the direction of arrow R, the attachment unit is opened.

  • Patent number: 6082691
Abstract: A compact configuration of a video camera was conventionally hindered by a control mechanism which required a large space in a casing of a VTR unit. In the present invention, a reference numeral 6 represents a rotating shaft of a monitor screen unit (2), which passes through a holding member (8) and a open/close load member (10), and has a tip having a section in a D-like shape. A reference numeral 7 designates a fixed plate which is fixed to the monitor screen unit (2) and to which a rotating shaft (6) is fixed by caulking. A reference numeral 8 denotes the holding member, and a reference numeral 9 represents an open/close shaft which is fixed to a recorder/reproducer unit (1) with a screw, and passes through the holding member (8) and a carting portion of the open/close load member (10), and is forcibly fitted into the carting portion to produce a torque for rotating the holding member (8).

  • Patent number: 5742341
Abstract: A video camera includes a first housing accommodating a recording and reproducing device for recording and reproducing video signals and having a recess defined therein on an upper surface thereof, and a second housing having a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other and housed in the recess of the first housing at its rest position at which the first surface of the second housing is opposed to the upper surface of the first housing. The second housing has a recess defined therein on the second surface thereof. The video camera also includes a monitor screen mounted on the first surface of the second housing and a support member having a first end to which the second housing is hingedly connected and a second end hingedly connected to the first housing. The support member is housed in the recess of the second housing when the second housing is in the rest position.

  • Patent number: 5738321
Abstract: A magnetic recording and reproducing device wherein a casing for a monitor image section is attached to a casing for a VTR section through a rotatable shaft mechanism. The device comprises a support shaft member and a rotatable member which do not require strict dimensional accuracy, and coil springs and shafts. The rotatable member is turnable relative to the support shaft member attached to the first casing. The support shaft member and rotatable member can be manufactured as inexpensive moldings. The support shaft member and rotatable member are centrally hollowed to allow a wire, which is used for electrical connection between the VTR section and the monitor image section, to be packaged such that it is drawn from the second casing through the hollow portions of the rotatable member and support shaft member into the first casing.

  • Patent number: 5636080
Abstract: The invention is concerned with a magnetic recording/playback apparatus in which a magnetic tape is pulled out from a tape cassette and wound around a cylindrical rotary head cylinder, having a rotary head built therein, over a predetermined angle to record/playback signals through the rotary head, and more particularly, with a tape guide post driving mechanism, a pinch roller pressing mechanism and a tension serve mechanism. Specifically, the invention provides a tape guide post driving device which can reduce the size, weight and thickness of the apparatus by ensuring a large angle of thickness of the apparatus by ensuring a large angle of rotation of a rotating member, which includes a tension arm, in a direct manner. Also, the invention realizes a pinch roller pressing mechanism in which a sufficient stroke can be obtained even when a cam gear is reduced in its diameter and can provide a sufficient stroke even with a small amount of rotation.
