  • Patent number: 7554040
Abstract: A printed circuit board suitable for dip soldering of component leads in through holes using lead free solder. The printed circuit board includes a plurality of via holes arranged around each through hole in which a component lead is inserted, whereby solder wicking up into the through hole is enhanced and air entrapment is prevented during the dip soldering operation, and heat fatigue resistance of solder joints is improved.

  • Patent number: 7019488
Abstract: Communication is provided for each of battery ECUs so that the battery ECUs are connected through a connection cable to communicate with each other. Operating power is constantly supplied to the battery ECU used as a master while being supplied to the battery ECUs used as slaves through a relay contact. When a vehicle stops running, the master battery ECU controls the relay contact to be turned OFF after collecting necessary data of each of the slave battery ECUs to store therein. When the vehicle restarts running, the master battery ECU turns the relay contact ON to transmit the necessary data to each of the slave battery ECUs.

  • Patent number: 6856866
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for controlling a hybrid electric vehicle in which a rechargeable battery is discharged to drive an electric motor to cause the hybrid electric vehicle to travel, and the rechargeable battery is charged with regenerative electric power from the electric motor. The apparatus comprises a car navigation apparatus for outputting route information on a route to a destination of the vehicle including height information, and a control section for controlling charging and discharging of the rechargeable battery. The control section controls high discharge without power assist limit to the vehicle in the route before a downhill travel path of the route based on the route information output from the car navigation apparatus.
