  • Publication number: 20160036276
Abstract: A rotor 14 includes a shaft having a coolant flow passage and a coolant supply port, a rotor core 24 fixed on the shaft and formed of laminated steel plates, and a magnet set 32 provided in the rotor core 24 to extend along an axial direction thereof. The rotor core 24 has a first flow passage 34 provided near the magnet to extend therealong and a second flow passage 36 that connects the coolant supply port 28 of the shaft 22 and the first flow passage 34, thereby constituting a coolant flow path. The second flow passage 36 is formed by overlapping second slits 37 formed in the respective steel plates at an axially intermediate region A of the rotor core 24, the formed position of the second slit 37 being different for each steel plate combined. The first flow passage 34 and the second flow passage 36 join at the axially intermediate region A of the rotor core 24.

  • Publication number: 20140077652
Abstract: Provided is a rotor for a rotating electrical machine which is capable of minimizing increases in eddy current losses via a magnet, while making insulating film processing of the surface of the magnet unnecessary. The rotor for the rotating electrical machine includes: a rotor core having a magnet insertion hole extending inside; a magnet inserted in the magnet insertion hole; and an insulating filler which is filled between the inner wall of the magnet insertion hole and the magnet so as to secure the magnet. The magnet is secured by the filler in such a manner that the surface of the magnet inside the magnet insertion hole is in an inclined position with respect to the extending direction of the inner wall of the magnet insertion hole.

  • Publication number: 20130127282
Abstract: A method of resin sealing a permanent magnet in a magnet insertion portion of a laminated body, the body formed by laminating plural core sheets and including the plural portions formed around a shaft hole in a center thereof, the portion connected to an internal space via an opening. The method includes a first process of positioning a blocking member blocking the opening from a side of the space in a way that the member is vertically-placed in a lower die or an upper die, while the both dies hold the body from both sides in an axial direction and close the portion; and a second process of filling a resin extruded from a resin reservoir portion provided in the die or the die into the portion having the magnet inserted therein and having the opening closed by the member.

  • Publication number: 20120200185
Abstract: A rotor for a rotary electric machine includes a plurality of magnetic poles disposed at intervals in a circumferential direction, on an outer periphery of a rotor core that is a steel sheet stack that has a shaft hole in a central portion thereof configured so that a shaft is passed through and fixed to the shaft hole. The magnetic poles each have two permanent magnets and a magnetic flux suppression hole that regulates flow of magnetic flux from the permanent magnets, and are formed in such a manner that a shape of the magnetic flux suppression hole of at least one magnetic pole is different from a shape of the magnetic flux suppression hole of another magnetic poles, depending on the presence or absence of a positioning portion.

  • Publication number: 20120139382
Abstract: An end plate is made of a magnetic material, and holds an axis-direction end surface of a rotor core in which a permanent magnet is buried. The end plate includes: a protruded portion constructed so as to be caused to pressingly contact the axis-direction end surface of the rotor core when mounted in the rotor; and a depressed portion constructed so as not to contact the axis-direction end surface. The protruded portion is formed so as to contact only one of a d-axis magnetic path region and a q-axis magnetic path region that are formed by the permanent magnet within the rotor core.
