  • Patent number: 5754527
Abstract: A line switching apparatus is applied to a system which has a current system line and a spare system line, transmits identical ATM cell streams via the two lines, and adds protection switching cells to the ATM cell streams on a transmission side when line quality of the current system line deteriorates. The apparatus is adapted to switch a line to be used from the current system line to the spare system line in the system. The apparatus includes a first VPI converter, a multiplexer, a spare system line information read section, and a second VPI converter. The first VPI converter converts the VPI of the spare system line into a VPI different from the VPI of the current system line.

  • Patent number: 5712862
Abstract: It is an object to efficiently detect and analyze an error occurring on a channel of a digital data transmission multiplexing system with a small circuit scale and a low power consumption. A TU aligner for setting an AU pointer value to zero such that a J1 byte floating in an STM-1 signal is located next to the right one of three H3 bytes in an SOH and changing pointer values (V1 and V2) in each TU channel signal is arranged, and an error which is determined by analyzing each channel signal in the STM-1 signal processed by the aligner and a V5 byte as the POH byte in the signal is detected without demultiplexing the multiplexed STM-1 signal in units of TU channels and which is reported by means of an alarm.

  • Patent number: 5331630
Abstract: Pointer renewal apparatus for AU-4 and TU-3 at an NNI of SDH recommended by CCITT, G707-G709. The apparatus comprises a retiming block 1 for input data, a pointer-detecting block 2 for the TU-3 pointer from input data, a pointer-analyzing block 4, a main memory block 6 for storing input data in a block frame of STM-1/3, a new pointer-generating block 8 which combines the AU-4 pointer and TU-3 pointer received into a new TU-3 pointer, a pointer-changing and output data block 7, and blocks which supply necessary pulses and signals such as extracting pulses for extracting the TU-3 pointer from the input data-block 3, generating frame-head signal pulses for the stored data-block 5, output timing pulses for the AU-4 pointer and TU-3 pointer-block 9, pulses and alarm signals indicating loss of a pointer and alarm indication signals AIS, and a read/write error-block 10.

  • Patent number: 4746848
Abstract: A weft yarn feed device (1) comprises a measuring and storing drum (7) for storing a predetermined length of a weft yarn (4) thereon for picking operation, a rotary yarn guide (6) for winding the weft yarn (4) on the measuring and storing drum (7), a feed motor (8) for rotating the rotary yarn guide (6), a drive control unit (3) for controlling the operation of the feed motor (8), and a command control unit (2) which gives commands to the drive control unit (3). The length of the weft yarn (4) wound on the measuring and storing drum (7) is detected accurately on the basis of the relation between the number of rotation of the rotary yarn guide (6) and that of the crankshaft of the loom, and a detection signal indicating the length of the weft yarn (4) wound on the measuring and storing drum (7) is fed back to the command control unit (2) to control the feed motor ( 8) properly for winding a predetermined length of the weft yarn (4) on the measuring and storing drum.

  • Patent number: 4529012
Abstract: An apparatus for controlling a let-off motion in a loom having a let-off motion motor includes a tension detector for detecting a warp tension to produce a tension correction signal, a control unit responsive to the tension correction signal for producing a speed signal, a driving amplifier for controlling the let-off motion motor in response to the speed signal, a warp coil diameter detector for issuing a warp coil diameter correction signal inversely proportional to the diameter of a warp coil on a beam to the driving amplifier, and a normal-reverse rotation control unit responsive to the warp coil diameter correction signal for selectively applying prescribed normal- and reverse-rotation signals dependent on a rotation command to the driving amplifier. With this arrangement, the motor is rotated at a desired constant speed for feeding out or rewinding the warp yarn for a desired length irrespectively of the warp coil diameter.

  • Patent number: 4513790
Abstract: A method of controlling a motor-driven let-off motion in a loom including a system for controlling a let-off motion motor includes the steps of sampling a variation of warp tension during each revolution of a main shaft of the loom, effecting at least proportional and integral control modes on the average of sampled values, adding a proportional and integral output to a basic speed signal at a prescribed ratio, and applying a sum signal to the system for controlling the let-off motion motor.

  • Patent number: 4514304
Abstract: A method for purifying and concentrating organic matters by employing an amphoteric ion-exchange membrane which is made of a ternary block copolymer consisting of a macromolecule poly A.sup.- having cation-exchange group, a macromolecule poly B.sup.+ having anion-exchange group and a macromolecule poly C having no ion-exchange group and allows sodium chloride to permeate at a concentration not lower than 100% of that in the starting aqueous solution when a pressure of 50 kg/cm.sup.2 is given to the starting aqueous solution of sodium chloride of 0.01 g/dl and by allowing inorganic salts to permeate selectively from an aqueous solution of the organic compounds containing the inorganic salts with giving an increased pressure thereto.

  • Patent number: 4488580
Abstract: For ideal stoppage of loom rotation at a constant crank angle, initiation of braking action on loom rotation is always automatically and properly timed on the basis of initial stop lag angle representative of the current braking function so that the resultant actual stop angle should match the preselected stop crank angle and, more preferably, the initial stop lag angle is renewed to cover gradual deterioration in the braking function.
