  • Publication number: 20140193176
Abstract: A developer-agitating transporter includes helical blades that helically extend around a rotation shaft, the helical blades being arranged at different positions in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the rotation shaft; and a gap portion that divides each helical blade into a first blade portion and a second blade portion, which oppose each other across the gap portion, so that the helical blade is discontinuous in a direction in which the helical blade extends. The gap portion causes the first blade portion and the second blade portion to be arranged at a certain angular interval in a circumferential direction of the rotation shaft, and at least one surface of adjacent ones of the helical blades that are adjacent in the circumferential direction of the rotation shaft has a sloped area that is sloped at an angle that changes with respect to an axial direction of the rotation shaft.

  • Publication number: 20090175478
Abstract: When non-audible murmurs are to be obtained with maximum possible fidelity, the attenuation of the high frequency region attributable to mismatching of acoustic impedance on the interface between the skin surface over soft tissues in the body, which are mainly liquid, and the air space, which is gaseous, is restrained. The attenuation of the high frequency region attributable to mismatching of acoustic impedance can be restrained by installing a microphone on a surface of the skin immediately below the mastoid of a human, and sampling with condenser microphone portion via hardened silicone rubber or the like muscle-conduced vibrations of non-audible respiratory sounds articulated along with motions (motions of the mouth) not involving regular vibrations of the vocal cords.

  • Publication number: 20050244020
Abstract: The present invention eliminates the disadvantages of an analysis target used by a cellular phone and speech recognition, that is, a normal sound which is transmitted through the air and which is externally sampled through a microphone, and improves the disadvantages that noise may be mixed or occur in the target, that information may leak, and that corrections are difficult. The present invention also provides a personal portable information terminal realizing new portable terminal communications which do not require training and which conform to the cultural practice of human beings. In the present invention, no apparatus that obtains an analysis target is put off human body, and a normal sound is not an analysis target. A stethoscope-type microphone is installed on the surface of the human skin.

  • Patent number: 4650996
Abstract: An angle transducer which photo-electrically measures the rotation angle of a shaft by utilizing, a polarizer disc is arranged as follows: the polarizer disc is secured to the shaft to be measured or to the detection shaft of the angle transducer. Two pairs of photo-electric conversion elements are in opposition to light sources across the polarizer disc. The first and second polarizer plates are interposed between the photo-electric conversion elements of each pair. The transmission axes of the first and second polarizer plates differ from each other by 45 degrees. The quantities of light emitted by the light sources or the outputs of the photo-electric conversion elements are modulated by carrier waves of two phases differing 90 degrees from each other. The amplitudes of the outputs correspond to the sine and cosine functions of the double angle of the rotation angle of the shaft to be measured. These outputs form modulated waves of two phases differing 90 degrees from each other.
