  • Patent number: 5224759
Abstract: A double lock seat recliner has a primary recliner device which and a secondary recliner device are connected by a rotary linking rod. A first lever is pivotally mounted on a pivot of a release lever. A second lever is connected with the first lever by a connecting pin. The second lever cooperates with the rotary linking rod. A third lever pivotally cooperates with the rotary lever. A fourth lever is pivotally connected to the third lever via a connecting pin. The fourth lever cooperates with a pivot shaft of a locking member of the auxiliary recliner device. The third lever is mounted on the inner side of a base plate. On the other hand, the fourth lever is mounted on the outside of the base plate. The connecting pin for cooperably connecting the third lever with the fourth lever extends through an elongated slot formed through the base plate.

  • Patent number: 5150871
Abstract: The vehicle seat comprises a pair of lower rails arranged on the vehicle floor at an interval; a pair of upper rails slidably mounted on the lower rails, respectively; and a pair of base plates fixed to the upper rails, respectively at both the ends thereof with bolts or ribets. To further reinforce the fixing strength between the base plate and the upper rail; that is, to prevent the inward deformation of the base plate from the upper rail at the middle portion thereof when a large load is applied to the base plates, the base plates and the upper rails are removably engaged with each other, respectively at the middle thereof by means of a pin and a hole or male and female engagement members, without use of bolts or rivets, thus facilitating the base plate mounting work on the upper rails.

  • Patent number: 4822099
Abstract: To turn a seat to a reverse position within a narrow space, a rotary seat is composed of a turntable, a thigh support frame, a hip support cushion disposed on the turntable, and a thigh support cushion disposed on the thigh support frame. Simultaneously when the thigh support frame is pivoted upwardly from an original position together with the thigh support cushion, a latch mechanism is released via a latch releasing mechanism, and the turntable and the thigh support frame become rotatable with the thigh support cushion remaining pivoted upwardly. The turntable is then latched into a reversed position when the thigh support frame is pivoted back down to the original position.
