  • Publication number: 20040248478
Abstract: An organic EL device comprising: 1) a laminate consisting of an opposed pair of electrodes and an organic light-emitting layer sandwiched between the electrode, 2) a gas-tight housing accommodating the laminate and shielding off the external atmosphere, and 3) a sheet-like preformed moisture-absorbing body which is stretched and fabricated outside the gas-tight housing in advance, disposed in isolation from the laminate within the gas-tight housing, the preformed moisture-absorbing body being fixedly secured to at least one part of the gas-tight housing, and the preformed moisture-absorbing body comprising a desiccant and a resin component.

  • Patent number: 6819042
Abstract: There is provided a more expedient and positive desiccating means for an organic EL device. The invention relates to an organic EL device comprising 1) a laminate consisting of an opposed pair of electrodes and an organic light-emitting layer sandwiched between the electrodes, 2) a gas-tight housing accommodating the laminate and shielding off the external atmosphere and 3) a desiccating means disposed in isolation from the laminate within the gas-tight housing, characterized in that a preformed moisture-absorbing artifact as the desiccating means is fixedly secured to at least one part of the gas-tight housing and further to a method of manufacturing the same device.

  • Patent number: 5824385
Abstract: An optical disc has a pair of light-transmissible circular substrates each having an inner non-data region disposed around a center hole thereof, a data region disposed around the inter non-data region for bearing signals corresponding to information to be recorded and an outer non-data region disposed around the data region which are formed on a major surface of the substrate. The optical disc has a reflective layer formed on the data region and a protective layer made of an ultraviolet ray setting resin containing metal ions formed on the reflective layer. The optical disc has an adhesive layer made of an adhesive composition containing an ultraviolet ray setting component and an anaerobic hardening component disposed between the protective layers of the circular substrates for adhering the circular substrates.

  • Patent number: 5356684
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide a an optical recording medium provided with a reflective film having a high reflectivity and durability and a means for producing thereof, and it can be obtained by a method comprising the steps of: first placing on a heating object an aluminum metal alloy containing at least one of 0.05-0.2 wt.% metal selected from the group of iron, copper and silicon, and also having 0.7-3.0 wt.% manganese; and evaporating the aluminum metal alloy in a vacuum by means of a vapor deposition process to an information signal recorded surface of a transparent synthetic resin plate. In other words, an optical recording medium according to the present invention is provided with a light reflective film covering an information signal recorded surface of a transparent synthetic resin plate, wherein the light reflective film is formed in a vacuum by means of a vapor deposition process of an aluminum metal alloy containing at least one of 0.05-0.2 wt.
