Patent number: 5335876Abstract: A tape cassette for use in a recording apparatus with a lid lock to lock a front lid of the tape cassette in a closed position. The lid lock includes a fixing portion which fixes the lid lock to the cassette body, and a locking portion with a lock claw which engages the front lid to lock the front lid in the closed position. A reinforcing member formed of a resilient material extends between a support portion and a front leg portion of the lock member to bias the front leg portion of the lock member in a frontal direction toward a locking position.
