  • Patent number: 8610586
Abstract: A sensor having a detecting part for detecting an environmental value representing change in physical amount of circumference environment by a fluid flowing into externally and a controlling part for discriminating abnormality in circumference environment based on the environmental value detected by the detecting part. A separating plate is provided inside a housing so as to separate two spaces in the height direction. A detection unit is provided in one space and a sounding body is provided in the other space. Apertures are provided in a side wall, thereby opening one space to the outside environment and letting the fluid to be measured flow into the space. Then, a flow path is formed inside the space in the housing, from the side wall forming the housing toward the detection unit, thereby proactively channeling the fluid to the detection unit.

  • Patent number: 7519978
Abstract: On the inner surface of a guide rail (411) having a concave groove, which extends in the vertical direction along a motion path of a disc drive (200) moved by a mover unit (300), a biasing cam (412) having thickened swelling parts (412a) at both ends is so provided as to have the groove width narrowed at both the upper and lower ends. A plate spring (420) which is pressed into contact with a guide surface of the surface of the biasing cam (412) by elastic biasing force is attached integrally to the disc drive (200). At the home position where the disc drive (200) operates and at the position where the disc drive (200) is lifted up, the plate spring (420) is strongly pressed into contact by the swelling parts (412a), and the disc drive (200) can be prevented from being moved by impact or the like from outside during operation. While moving, the pressing force is weakened so that load applied by the mover unit (300) can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20050188385
Abstract: A disc drive (200), which has a disc tray (210) that carries an optical disc (10) and can be moved back and forth, is adapted to be moved out of and back into a case body (110) through an opening (111) by a mover unit. When the disc drive (200) is being moved, the drive operation of the spindle motor of the disc drive (200) is suspended to prevent the optical disc from rotating. The disc drive (200) is allowed to read information from and/or record information on the optical disc (10) only at the home position where it is housed in the case body (110) through the opening (111). Thus, the disc drive (200) is prevented from damaging the optical disc and other components by impact when it is being moved.

  • Patent number: 6628577
Abstract: A motor is provided on a slide base of a disc player. A flexible cable for supplying an electric power and control signals to the motor and a player and the like is connected to the motor at one end thereof, and to a player disposed in a chassis at the other end. When the slide base is located in a disc storing position, the flexible cable is bent ahead of the both ends, so that the wiring within the disc player can be simplified.

  • Patent number: 6549491
Abstract: A linear rack gear is formed on the underside of a slide base, and a planetary gear provided in a chassis, which rotates in engagement with this linear rack gear, causes the slide base to move back and forth. When the slide base is located in its disc store position, the planetary gear engages with a first arcuate rack gear formed in the chassis continuously with the linear rack gear and revolves in accordance therewith, whereupon a clamp causes a clamp cam to slide in a lateral direction to move a float base up and down, thereby achieving clamp and release of a disc, so that the disc player can be manufactured at low cost due to a reduced number of parts in excellent production efficiency.

  • Patent number: 6404718
Abstract: A disc player is provided with: a turn table (13) for rotating an information record disc, which is placed on the turn table; a clamper (15) for holding the information record disc between the clamper and the turn table; a chassis (10) on which at least one of the clamper and the turn table is mounted and which has a rotation shaft (11a, 11b) parallel to a main surface of the information record disc held between the clamper and the turn table; a driving device (8a, 12) for transmitting a driving force to the chassis so as to rotate the chassis with the rotation shaft at a rotation axis; and an optical pickup (20) for at least reading a signal from the information record disc held between the clamper and the turn table while the disc is rotated on the turn table. A gap (W) is prepared between the rotation shaft and a bearing (22b) for the rotation shaft in a direction parallel to the main surface such that the rotation shaft has a play in the direction parallel to the main surface.
