Patent number: 5838249Abstract: A control/supervisory signal transmission/reception system includes a central station and a number of local stations which are interconnected by a common data line carrying a three-level voltage signal so as to transfer data signals between the central and local stations. Information concerning structures and functions of the local stations is grasped automatically by using frames having ID codes differing from one to another frame, whereby the central station can check occurrence of breakage of the transmission line or shut-down of the local station inclusive of the units to be controlled/supervised associated with the local station. The frame includes a start signal field, a data signal field, a local station ID code field and an end signal field. In the local station, an ID code allocated thereto and a count value indicating data reception/transmission address are preset.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 1996Date of Patent: November 17, 1998Assignees: NKE Co., Ltd., Kuroda Precision Industries Ltd.Inventors: Yoshitane Saito, Kazuo Itani, Yuji Watanabe, Takeharu Katsuno

Patent number: 5247292Abstract: A sensor signal transmission system for transmitting serially sensor signals produced in parallel by a plurality of sensors installed at a remote station to a central control station. The central control station includes a clock generating circuit, a signal conversion circuit for converting a voltage of a power supply source into clock-pulse superposed voltage signal, a start signal generating circuit, and a data extracting/converting circuit for detecting levels of an input signal to the central control station at the timing of the clock signal. The local station is connected to the central control station and signal includes a power generating circuit for generating a source voltage required for electrical energization of the sensors by smoothing the pulse superposed voltage signal. The clock pulses are modulated by the sensor state signals, which modulation is detected by the data extracting/converting circuit of the central station for evaluation or other processing thereof.Type: GrantFiled: September 25, 1990Date of Patent: September 21, 1993Assignees: Nakamura Kiki Engineering Co. Patent number: 5223826Abstract: A bidirectional control/supervisory system for transmitting control signals from a controller to devices and transmitting supervisory signals from sensors monitoring the devices to the controller through a common transmission line. A transmission/reception control circuit generates a timing signal and a supply voltage of constant level, and converts the voltage into clock pulses having voltage levels differing from the supply voltage. The clock pulses are outputted to the common transmission line under the timing of the timing signals.Type: GrantFiled: June 1, 1990Date of Patent: June 29, 1993Assignee: Nakamura Kiki Engineering Co., Ltd.Inventors: Teruhiko Amou, Yoshitane Saito

Patent number: 4937568Abstract: A remote control system comprises a central control station and at least one local station installed remotely from the central control station and connected thereto through a power transmission line. The local station has a plurality to devices connected in parallel to one another at the output. The power for actuating the devices is supplied from the central control station. For controlling actuation of the devices, binary control signals are serially sent from the central control station to the local station through the power transmission line in synchronism with clock pulses in a train including a start pulse. In the local station, the binary control signal are extracted in response to the start signal and converted into parallel control signals by utilizing the clock pulses to be applied to output circuits provided for controlling the devices.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 1988Date of Patent: June 26, 1990Assignees: Kuroda Precision Industries, Ltd., Nakamura Engineering Co., Ltd.Inventors: Koji Nakanishi, Yoshitane Saito
