  • Patent number: 10086603
Abstract: A method is for processing image data for recording by an image forming apparatus that discharges ink droplets from a plurality of nozzles. The method includes reading out image data corresponding to one line constituted by a series of dots aligning in a main scanning direction. The method further includes calculating a faulty discharge error, which occurs at a non-discharge position on a line at which no ink droplet is discharged from a defective one of the plurality of nozzles. The method further includes controlling distribution of the faulty discharge error to a line that is downstream relative to a line on which the non-discharge position occurs according to a limit setting that limits distribution of the faulty discharge error.

  • Patent number: 9749495
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a resolution converting unit that converts the resolution of input image data into a low resolution by using a “reference shift” method; a dot processing unit that deletes a dot area that occurs on an edge portion of an object in image data that is obtained by the resolution converting unit; and a format converting unit that converts image data, from which the dot is deleted by the dot processing unit, into the format of an output processing unit that prints the input image data with a low resolution.

  • Patent number: 8498096
Abstract: In an electronic component, a first capacitor conductor includes a first exposed portion exposed between insulating layers at a surface of a laminate including a first shorter side and two longer sides. A second capacitor conductor includes a second exposed portion exposed between the insulating layers at a surface of the laminate including a second shorter side and the two longer sides. First and second external electrodes are arranged on the laminate so as to cover the first and the second exposed portions, respectively. A first width of the first capacitor conductor in a region located between the second shorter side and a first straight line obtained by connecting two edges of the second external electrode is greater than a width of the first capacitor conductor in a region located between the first straight line and a straight line obtained by connecting two edges of the first external electrode.
