  • Patent number: 8411925
Abstract: A first generating unit generates a plurality of blood vessel image data sets at the plurality of imaging angles by performing subtraction processing for the plurality of mask image data sets and the plurality of contrast image data sets. A second generating unit generates a blood vessel volume data set including an artery region, a vein region, and a capillary vessel region by performing reconstruction processing for the plurality of blood vessel image data sets. A third generating unit generates a capillary vessel volume data set associated with the capillary vessel region by removing the artery region and the vein region from the blood vessel volume data set. A fourth generating unit generates a capillary vessel image data set by performing three-dimensional image processing for the capillary vessel volume data set.

  • Publication number: 20120162222
Abstract: A medical image diagnosis device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an imaging unit that takes an image of a subject, with an X-ray generation unit which exposes the subject to X-rays and an X-ray detector which detects X-rays that have passed through the subject, being supported on a supporter; a control unit that controls so as to rotate and move the supporter with respect to the subject and take images of the subject from a plurality of viewpoints; a storage unit that stores image data taken from a plurality of the viewpoints; an image processing unit that classifies a plurality of pieces of the image data stored in the storage unit into a plurality of imaging ranges to generate thumbnail images; and a display unit that displays thumbnail images generated by the image processing unit.

  • Publication number: 20110096894
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an X-ray diagnostic apparatus includes an X-ray tube, first detector, second detector, arm, sliding mechanism, tilting mechanism, and control unit. The X-ray tube includes an anode to generate X-rays upon receiving electrons. The first detector has the first pixel size. The second detector has the second pixel size smaller than the first pixel size. The arm pivotally supports the X-ray tube, first detector, and second detector. The sliding mechanism slidably supports the first and second detectors so as to irradiate one of the first and second detectors with the X-rays generated by the X-ray tube. The tilting mechanism tiltably supports the X-ray tube to change the size of an effective X-ray focal spot on the anode. The control unit controls the sliding of the first and second detectors by the sliding mechanism upon interlocking with the tilting of the X-ray tube by the tilting mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20090310847
Abstract: A medical image processing apparatus includes an image storage unit which stores the data of a three-dimensional image associated with an object receiving an operation using a lumen insertion device, a lumen detection unit which detects a lumen centerline associated with a specific lumen from the three-dimensional image, a current position specifying unit which specifies the current position of the lumen insertion device based on the insertion distance from a reference position associated with the lumen insertion device and the detected lumen centerline, a cross-sectional image generating unit which creates, from the data of the three-dimensional image, the data of a cross-sectional image associated with a cross-section passing through at least one of the current position and an expected insertion position located ahead of the current position, and a display unit which displays the generated data of the cross-sectional image.
