    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a utility pole and a method for constructing the utility pole, which can simplify and improve efficiency of work at the time of new construction and replacement and can shorten a work period. The anchor has a larger diameter than a body of a utility pole on the ground and has higher ground support force. Thus, the hole for building the assembly type utility pole on the ground can be made shallower than the hole for building the utility pole in related art on the ground. The depth of the hole is shallow, so that it is possible to reduce a period for digging, reduce a probability of hitting a buried object, and reduce work for confirming a buried object. In addition, the assembly type utility pole includes a plurality of parts, and thus, only a degraded portion needs to be replaced, so that it is possible to shorten replacement work.

The core is pivotally supported by the pin and rotates coaxially with the output shaft. The input cam is annular and surrounds an outer circumference of the core. The input cam rotates integrally with the core. An end surface of the core closer to the housing includes a first deviated surface. The core includes an insertion portion into which the pin is inserted. When a center axis of the core is coaxial to the rotation axis of the output shaft, the first deviated surface is located at a position farther from the housing than the insertion portion.

At this time, an input side sub-shaft is freed from an output side sub-shaft. In contrast, when the input shaft is rotated in a reverse rotational direction, the rotational force of the input shaft is transmitted to the output shaft through an input gear, a first gear, the input side sub-shaft, a two-way clutch, the output side sub-shaft, a second gear and an output gear. At this time, the output shaft is freed from an intermediate shaft.
