  • Patent number: 5711913
Abstract: The present invention is intended to prevent the deformation of a cylindrical mouth portion of a preform when a blow pressure acts thereon in a diameter expanding direction during biaxial orientation blow molding. During biaxial orientation blow molding, sealing of the blow pressure is accomplished by means of a neck ring P1 circumferentially provided on a lower end of the circumferentially provided on a lower end of the circumferential surface of a cylindrical mouth portion P2 of a preform to thereby make the blow pressure act uniformly on the whole area of the cylindrical mouth portion P2, whereby the unreasonable deformation of the cylindrical mouth portion P2 due to the ununiform application of blow pressure thereto can totally be eliminated.

  • Patent number: 5209882
Abstract: In a first forming stage, the bottom portion of a mono-molded plastic syringe (a type wherein the whole portion, i.e., a main syringe body and a needle portion, is molded unitedly in a cast) is heated and then stretched to a certain length, forming the edge portion like a needle, while the syringe is intermittently moved. Then the sryinge is carried to a second forming stage, where the syringe is moved intermittently and the needle portion is heated, then it is bent at a certain angle and is cut in a certain length, forming a completed syringe.

  • Patent number: 5081360
Abstract: An irradiating apparatus comprises a bucket group consisting a plurality of buckets spaced equally from each other and connected to a first endless chain, and a roller group consisting of a plurality of roller located under the bucket group. Each bucket comprises a barrel shaped body having a bottom which has a plurality of openings. Moreover, the bucket receives an article to be transferred such as preform and transfers it in a horizontal position therein. The rollers are connected to second endless chains. A pair of rollers are arranged parallel to each other in the transfer direction. The roller has a plurality of lands which intrude in the openings of the bucket. A pair of rollers are rotated in the same direction to rotate the article to be transferred. The roller group travels at the same speed in the same direction as those of the bucket.

  • Patent number: 4588370
Abstract: A transparent thin bottle-shaped container is produced by means of a technology for biaxial orientation blow molding a cylindrical piece with a bottom from polyethylene terephthalate material. The pieces are molded in large number in each injection molding process of an injection molding machine. The pieces thus formed immediately after the injection molding are held simultaneously in large number at the gates integrally projected therefrom by a base plate moved forward at the front of the mold in the injection molding machine. They are then conveyed to a gate cutting unit provided near the injection molding machine. The gates are cut from the pieces sequentially by the gate cutting unit and are conveyed onto a conveyor. The pieces are gradually cooled from the hot molded temperature during the conveyance and are additionally cooled while being conveyed on an oblique conveyor installed with a cooler to room temperature or lower predetermined temperature.

  • Patent number: 4352424
Abstract: A device for obliquely conveying pieces of cylindrical hollow shape with a bottom for forming a thin, transparent, bottle-shaped container from the floor level to the height for supplying the pieces to the mold of a blow-molding machine. The numerous pieces are simultaneously injection-molded from a polyethylene terephthalate resin via an injection molding machine, and are supplied to the mold of the blow-molding machine after being cooled to room temperature. Each of the pieces thus formed is conveyed via a rope conveyor in a vertically neck portion upward position as lifted from the conveyor, and is further conveyed obliquely upwardly by an oblique conveyor having a plurality of attachments attached to the conveyor's chain for supporting the pieces at the bottoms to exactly convey the pieces one by one to meet the molding speed of the blow-molding machine.

  • Patent number: 4313534
Abstract: A device for unloading a product or a light bottle-shaped container of synthetic resin from a predetermined jig for engaging the container throughout the production line from an injection molding machine. This device incorporates a turntable for holding a number of jigs at equal central angle intervals at its periphery, a rocking unit relatively rotatably rocking to turn at the same speed in the same direction as the turntable and to then return to the original position faster than the previous speed, and a pair of linking mechanisms supported by a supporting arm to the rocking unit for unloading the container engaged by the jig. Thus, this device can continuously, rapidly and exactly feed the unloaded container to the next step.
