  • Publication number: 20060178049
Abstract: A connector (10) has a housing (11) with an outer peripheral surface (11S). A rubber boot (15) has a tubular sealing portion (21) with an inner peripheral surface that mounts over and seals to the outer peripheral surface (11S) of the housing (11). Thus, a compressive elasticity amount of the sealing portion (21) is not affected by a posture of the first connector (10) when the first connector (10) is fit in a second connector (40). Therefore, the sealing performance of the sealing portion (21) does not deteriorate in dependence on the posture of the first connector (10) when the first connector (10) is fit in the second connector (40).

  • Patent number: 6945860
Abstract: An optical connector machining apparatus (500) is comprised of an operation circuit box (1) containing a drive motor (9) and a battery (10) while serving as a grasping section, and a planetary gear mechanism box (2) having a drive mechanism (8) that rotatably holds a polishing table (4) with a polishing table retainer (3) while permitting rotation of the drive motor to be delivered to the polishing table retainer through a planetary gear mechanism, wherein a chuck mounting section (5) is fixedly secured to the planetary gear mechanism box through two pieces of columns (6, 6), and a chuck (43), slidably guiding a ferrule (A) with respect to the polishing table in a vertical direction, and a pressure-applying mechanism (7) for urging the ferrule to the polishing table in a vertical direction, are mounted to the chuck mounting section.

  • Publication number: 20050058037
Abstract: There are provided a mounting unit configured to selectively mount first and second optical disks in which characteristics of recording films are different from one another, and a discriminating unit configured to discriminate which of the first and second optical disks is mounted on the mounting unit based on a level of a reproduction signal which is obtained by reproducing innermost peripheral portion of the first or second optical disk mounted on the mounting unit.

  • Patent number: 3935070
Abstract: A process for converting a dextrose mother liquor to a sweet product, comprising subjecting a dextrose mother liquor to isomerization, preferably by the action of an enzyme preparation having dextrose isomerizing activity, to isomerize a substantial part of the dextrose content to levulose, and then subjecting the isomerized liquor to the action of an enzyme preparation having isomaltose activity.
