    Abstract: In an imaging method using k space low-frequency region data including a lot of useful information, in order to obtain an image with high quality without increasing measurement time by measuring a minimum required region in proper quantities, according to the present invention, pre-measurement is performed prior to main measurement, a rough shape of k space low-frequency region data is measured with respect to each signal reception channel, so as to be set as k space characteristics, and a range measured as a k space low-frequency region is specified in the measurement. The specified result is reflected in an imaging sequence, and thus k space low-frequency region data including useful information which can be used for a process is appropriately collected.

    Abstract: There is provided a magnetic resonance measuring apparatus for acquiring spectral data with reduced influence of contamination signals from the outside of a volume of interest. For this, a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus according to the present invention acquires a first echo signal generated from an object based on a gradient magnetic field having one polarity generated by a gradient magnetic field generation unit, acquires a second echo signal generated from the object based on a gradient magnetic field having the other polarity, which is a polarity opposite to the one polarity, generated by the gradient magnetic field generation unit, and creates a graph indicating the state of metabolites using both of the first echo signal and the second echo signal.

    Abstract: In order to obtain the rephasing effect based on a GMN method while reducing the load on the hardware of an MRI apparatus and an object according to the imaging parameter setting value that an operator wants, when it is difficult to apply a rephasing gradient magnetic field of a predetermined order according to the imaging parameter value set as input, a rephasing gradient magnetic field of a smaller amount of application is calculated, and at least some echo signals are measured using the calculated rephasing gradient magnetic field of the smaller amount of application. As the rephasing gradient magnetic field of the smaller amount of application, a rephasing gradient magnetic field with a lower order than the predetermined order is used or a rephasing gradient magnetic field for asymmetric measurement is used. Alternatively, a rephasing gradient magnetic field is applied only in a desired phase encoding range.
