  • Patent number: 8729993
Abstract: In a solenoid, a coil is energized in a state where movement of a plunger toward the inside of a yoke is stopped. Accordingly, when the coil is energized, it suffice that movement of the plunger toward the outside of the yoke is inhibited by a magnetic force, and it is not necessary to move the plunger into the yoke by the magnetic force. Therefore, it is not necessary that a force moving the plunger toward the inside of the yoke is increased by a conventional core. Accordingly, the conventional core is not assembled in a frame, so that number of components can be decreased so as to reduce the cost.

  • Patent number: 5307464
Abstract: A single chip microprocessor 1 includes a CPU 2 and a sub-processor 5 for software implementation of peripheral functions of the microprocessor 1. Sub-processor 5 includes electrically writable internal storage devices microprogram memory unit 13 and sequence control memory unit 62 for storing the software. Peripheral functions are defined and/or modified by writing software into the memory units 13 and 62. Accordingly, the time it takes to define and/or modify the peripheral functions is the time it takes to program the memory units 13 and 62. The sub-processor 5 also includes an execution unit 16 for executing a plurality of tasks and an address control circuit 14 for providing addresses to the microprogram memory unit 13. Additionally, the microprogram memory unit 13 provides microinstructions to the execution unit 16. • Patent number: 5066507
Abstract: A method for mechanically removing roots from harvested cormatose plant bodies using a special root removing arrangement comprises supplying the harvested cormatose plant body (3) in between two parallel spaced horizontal rollers (1,2) while they are rotating in opposite directions relative to each other so that their peripheral or opposing adjacent inner sides are moving upwards, or in the same rotational direction so that one of these peripheral surfaces on opposing adjacent inner sides is moving upwards, in order that the plant bodies roll on the rollers and become balanced and oriented substantially axially of the rollers, changing the rotational mode of the rollers into a counter rotation mode so that their peripheral surfaces on the opposing inner sides are moving downwards, drawing the beard-like roots (4) of each plant body (3) into the gap between the rollers, forcing each plant body away from the rollers by a plant body thrusting mechanism (5,6,7) to cause the roots to be plucked from the plant body
