  • Publication number: 20090303438
Abstract: An ophthalmic photographing apparatus comprising a photographing optical system for obtaining a regional image of an examinee's eye, comprising a light source, a focusing optical element movable in an optical-axis direction by a driving mechanism, and a photodetector, and a control unit controlling driving of the mechanism and obtain the image based on a signal from the photodetector, wherein the control unit further moves the optical element in predetermined steps/continuously to obtain the image at each position, calculates frequency distribution of luminance of each of the images to detect a change characteristic of luminance values having frequencies equal or exceeding a threshold value in the frequency distribution with respect to the optical element position, and detects a focus position of the optical element based on the change characteristics to move the optical element to a position corresponding to the detected focus position.

  • Publication number: 20060065279
Abstract: A regenerated tobacco material is manufactured through extracting a natural tobacco material with an extracting solvent to obtain an extracted solution containing components of the natural tobacco material and an extraction residue. A regenerated tobacco web is prepared by using the extraction residue. On the other hand, the extracted solution is subjected to a fractionating treatment by means of ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis filtration, or reversed-phase partition chromatography to obtain a first fraction enriched in desired components and depleted in undesired components, and a second fraction enriched in the undesired components and depleted in the desired components. The first fraction is added, optionally together with the second fraction decreased in amount, to the regenerated tobacco web to prepare a regenerated tobacco material.

  • Publication number: 20060026648
Abstract: A data-related information acquiring device acquires data related information having a distribution information. The distribution is related to the distribution of data. A data identification device identifies first data of which first distribution time extends or contracts on the basis of the data related information and second data of which second distribution time is changed by the extension or contraction of the first distribution time of the first data. A distribution-state display controlling device controls display information, which suggests a change in each of the distribution times in addition to the distribution information of the first data and the second data.

  • Patent number: 6460592
Abstract: A tube connecting apparatus is arranged to hold tubes in a first tube holder and a second tube holder, to rotate a pair of rotatable clamping members which include separable pieces disposed in rotational symmetry for holding the tubes in either or both of the first tube holder and the second tube holder, to heat and melt the tubes by a heated cutting plate moving therebetween to cut the tubes, and to weld cut end faces of the different tubes. When the pair of clamping members are in a state of not holding the tubes rotation preventing members fixedly lock the clamping members in a predetermined position, preventing the clamping member from being rotated.
